  1. Hi fly boy, on the tin it should say about what to wash the brush out with if they say turps then its oil based, if they say wash brush out with water then water based. Hope that helps. Steve
  2. Timbo is correct, with a petrol engine model you should (well i do) always do the 4 points of the compass range check with the engine just above tick over, the idea for this is that you will see if the cdi can give any interference. Not necessary with a glow engine but no harm in doing it anyway after all takes very little time and if the worst happens  you know that you done a full range check.   Steve
  3. Hi Romeo, it's not really a case of the Rx becoming unbound more of the tx becoming ubound with the Rx because he switched on the Tx in bind mode but the Rx did not have the bind plug in so the Tx was looking to bind but could not find the Rx (no bind plug).   The way i look at it is to remember that the only time you ever hold the bind button in on the Tx whilst switching on the Tx is to bind a new Rx or reset failsafe.    Steve.
  4. Hi Mark, to do a range check with dx7 or jr dsx 9 you switch on tx then rx make sure it is bound then walk min 30 paces turn and face model then push in the bind/range check button. You only hold in the bind button then switch on tx to bind the receiver to the tx. Of course if its a petrol model then make sure you do the 4 point range check.   Steve
  5. you could put a couple of coach bolts through the hinges instead of the screws say two per hinge one at either end and perhaps some mirror film on the windows and some wire mesh inside of the windows apart from that i don't know. It's a catch twenty two really because if they see to much security then they will be thinking why so much security. Fingers crossed for you. steve
