  2. If I can get to the field! Our phones are down so I cant contact my Taid!
  3. well I did ask on the club forum and it was up for a couple of hours, so I decided to post it up here to as  there are more people on this one as more are online at one time
  4. Hi Well this isnt really ELECTRIC flight, but its electronics. I charged up my Rx pack in my glow tutor 40 a while ago, its a 2600mah 6v pack, I charged it up to test my engine and I used it for about 10-15 minutes and it hasent been used since. Im off flying tomorrow so should I charge it more or just leave it? - Thanks - Sam
  5. Nope, as I was only looking for after my A test, and the weather has been POO recently so no flying!
  6. Thank you for all the congratulations!
  7. I think we need to clear a few things up here 1. the dx7 and vapor were NOT free and we had to pay for them 2. The ar500 I got I had to pay for what the person who sold it to me had to pay 3. the only things that I got free were the servo's zagi and the two britfight models After re-reading what was in the magazine, it does sound like I got the whole lot for free but that is not the case and I made sure that it didnt in my draft of the letter
  8. Oh wait, Ive found it for £100 and postage on a website called elite models, but ive also found this http://www.modelengines.com.au/view/page/27/item/SGEDGE540-46.html (Again sorry for the link but I explained why further up in the thread)  I wonder how well she flys, hopefully better than the CMPro version it also seems to be over 1.5kg lighter with a bigger wingspan to!
  9. Does he post or have a website? Also what is the wingspan on this bird?
  10. I really like the look of the cap 232  Were did you get that version from? How much was it and what was it like building it quality wise? - Thanks - Sam
  11. Well as much as I would like to build a kit, I just dont have the tools and materials to do so, so that is why im looking for an artf that will fit the gear I have now. What is wrong with the artf wot4?
  12. Ive been flying a zagi (to easy! ), TUTOR 40, GWS corsair and a britflight breeze for the past say 2 months Here is a video of my latest outing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ixXibFPTCE Sorry if the link makes the screen go funny but I cant post it any other way as it just makes the screen go dull and wont let me click anything Edited By Sam Thomas on 12/03/2010 08:07:38
  13. Yeerrp its me! Are you sure that one of these cant be just as docile with the right amount of expo and rates, Oh and have you seen me fly? Ive been flying for a couple of months now and here is me park flying my breeze
  14. Hi I am looking for a first non trainer plane for after ive done my A, Ive been reading about the CMPro models such as the extra 300l and yak 54, and they all seem to be way to heavy for the wing size and tip stall really easily, so that isnt what I want! So I came across the Black horse CAP 232 which seems to have a good wingspan of 57'' and will take a .40 - .53 two stroke which is all good as I will be able to pull these off my trainer to use on it. Ive also read that it is really nice at slow speeds and floats down nicely.    Has anyone ever had any experience with black horse and the CAP 232? with it being a aerobatic bird I will have to have rates and expo programmed in. What is the quality like with the black horse artf models, are they up to scratch? If they are they seem superb value for the price!!! -  Thanks - Sam
  15. Oh... (cough cough) I think I feel a little ill... LOL Have fun, I just hope next week (half term) will be good for sloping as I will be up there ALL WEEK!!! if it is possible! BRING ON THE COMBAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
