  2. A foamy which recently arrived recently came with a warped/damaged aileron. It looks like this: How can I solve this? Edited By Chris Bott - Moderator on 29/06/2012 19:58:32
  3. As Caveman said, it may just be as simple as reversing them. Edited By Ghost on 29/06/2012 19:00:44
  4. Gresham, is that your Phoenix name or will that be a server? Also, I have an idea, should I create a server that will be up everyday for members that use Phoenix regularly called 'modelflying.co.uk', it would be up when this main one isn't (everyday, as I use phoenix more or less everyday).
  5. I tried and I tried, but no victory, looks like I'll be spending some money
  6. Thanks Erfolg, I'll be sure to get my glue from there next time! As for the limit, I think I'll order everything separatly if you know what I mean.

  8. Yep arrived yesterday with slight damage, had to pay £30 for customs though
  9. Thanks for that! I'll see if it will work in my case, all I need now is those new props to arrive.
  10. What motor mount will I need for this plane?- **LINK** Here are the specs for the motor-**LINK** The motor's power seemed to rip itself from its mount I only got the plane yesterday and I would of liked it to be ready for the weekend to maiden it I've seen these on ebay- **LINK** **LINK** These will definitely be able to be installed as I have the right "stick" but will the motor fit straight away or will I need anything else? Thanks in advance! Edited By Ghost on 27/06/2012 18:43:32
  11. I've been watching this thread for a while, very interesting work going on here. I look forward to seeing the flight results! Good luck!
  12. I use it with Phoenix, using an emulator. No physical work needed.
  13. Thanks for the info guys! this is probably the first and the last time I'll be ordering from their Hong Kong warehouse, the only reason I did was because the things I needed were more or less essential and they weren't at the DE warehouse. The next thing I will buy from HobbyKing will be the Jetiger at the DE warehouse and that's about it. My current order looks like I have "Revised charges to be paid" It has also been processed. I'll be ringing Parcelforce in a minute.
  14. Thanks for that! Δ I guess that explains it, hmm I guess I will have to get used to this until september
  15. Stalking Rusty's every movement was quite entertaining
  16. Should I just wait and see what happens or should I give parcelforce a call?
  17. Thanks for the info^ Checked again this morning and it says "Awaiting Customs Charging" on the Parcelforce website and nothing has changed at the Singpost website, things seem to me moving :D
  18. Thanks for the quick reply! Hmm, I'm hoping everything will be ok
  19. About a week ago I placed an order from HobbyKing from their Hong Kong warehouse, this is my first time ordering from them. I ordered a Parkjet mkii and a few other bits, Now, my problem: I selected the EMS delivery option because it was only a few pence more expensive than the other options and I thought that the delivery would be quick. I have been tracking my order ever since I've ordered it and it's gone a little like this on the Parcelforce website:
  20. Yup that makes sense, thanks again! Will try it in a while
  21. Thanks for the quick reply! Noob question: Will the motor be rotating the right way without me doing anything or will I have to switch things around? (I know nothing, just got my A certificate today ) Edited By Ghost on 17/06/2012 18:10:11
  22. I need a 4.5x4.5 prop for a flying wing with a pusher motor. Will I need to buy a "special" prop to use with a pusher motor or can I just buy a normal one, put it on and go? Thanks in advance
