  1. Hopefully it's resolved itself now and you'll be getting them consistently now then. I can't understand why just you would be having problems and no one else :s
  2. So you just receieved one now then?
  3. Have you been receiving them at all inbetween, or have they just stopped again from yesterday?
  4. Hi Depron, In short, your choice of if you want mail notification is set on a per thread basis. If you click on the link to disable forum notifications then it will turn them off for that thread only. You can from your my forum page see which threads you are signed up for and which ones you aren't signed up for, also from here you can remove threads that you don't want to be signed up for. There is a tick box underneath every box in which you post a message that asks if you wante email notification sent to you. By default this is preticked so when you submit a post to a new thread you will be signed up to forum notifications. However there is another setting on your my forum to choose to have this default to not preticked. To cut a long story short(er) i've removed you from all forum notifications and I've set your default so that if you post in a thread you won't get forum notifications. From now on unless you actively choose to have forum notifcations turned on for any threads you won't receive anymore. Hope this helps you. Timbo, There were problems in the past without a doubt, but those problems have been ironed out and the effect of them was for everyone. Every other time you reported a problem it was a problem for everyone, this time I was getting my mails as were other people. I'm not sure what the problem was, maybe our mail server was unable to contact your mail server or something but please do keep us informed if you have any further problems. Hope this helps everyone.
  5. Timbo, just a quick question... you don't have a new spam filter or anything do you?
  6. Interesting i just got mine for your reply in this thread. I've just checked your profile and all appears to be well. I'll see if I can get someone to look into this one for you.
  7. Have you started getting them again now?
  8. There was a problem over the weekend that we had. However that should now be resolved, are you still having problems with this? Further to that you're actually on at least this list twice. So you may get this mail twice. This is caused by one of the problems we had over the weekend. We're working on this and will remove duplicates when we've got it properly fixed.
  9. Sounds like the voice of agreement there Timbo
  10. But really who cares about france. unless we can get some bomb drops going on :>
  11. Deforestation is another horrible thing, but more for natural habitat removal. Deforestation is actually atributed to increase in CO2 levels which actually isn't valid. All the CO2 that a tree consumes becomes carbon in the tree. when that tree is burnt then it puts the same CO2 back into the atmosphere. Trees are a CO2 neutral, they convert CO2 into carbon that if stored in construction or whatever is kept out of the atmostphere. The problem with CO2 is the burning of fossil fuels. This is CO2 that has been taken out of the atmosphere many millions of years ago and stored. We're reintroducing that back into the atmoshpere faster than it's being laid down again. That's the real killer.
  12. As I said, just because that's the main aim of the congestion chraging doesn't mean there can't be other things that it can acheive. It's also small minded aproach of they're not so I won't that will make sure that nothing is done about the problem. If everyone just did their bit and didn't say well he's not you'd be amazed at the difference. Somewhere has to be first. If other cities and countries follow suit then in actual fact it's not just reduced the amount of CO2 output in London but around the world and done a great thing.
  13. I suspect he does. Sorry, I just couldn't resist
  14. Due to the short wavelength, line of sight is much less of an issue, at 2.4ghz. It's the same frequency used by computer wireless kit and that works through walls :>. The point may be that if you were to be standing by your model and a long way away another model was being used out of range. Then if you fly your model out in the direction of the model and it suddenly becomes in range of that other tx. What's the chances? I'd say truly minimal. I also don't know exactly how it works and if it transmits an id as it binds with the model if it does then this would be a 0 chance as it would only bind with one tx at a time. However I suspect it's not as smart as wireless computer technology unsurprisingly as it's somewhat larger range would make it tougher. Anyway I should go and read up on the tech to find out how it actually works.
