  1. It is reported that the sales of alcohol go up when the football world cup is on. Not surprising as you have to do something to blot it out. Edited By airman on 12/06/2014 11:26:05
  2. Have placed an order for a set cnc parts for the glider Red Eagle.
  3. I like the look of the powered glider Red Ned pictured in Alex Whittaker weekends column. In the column it was stated the plans will be published in the RCME. Which copy of RCME will the plans be published in? Also will there be a cnc wood pack for the glider?   In the kit review of the Razor CX, Colin in his review, said that he had to remove the canopy to change the battery. The battery can be changed without doing this.
  4. Yes,it appears that the regestration numbers are different on the ArtTech Spitfire. But are they or have the manufacture got them right? There must be a RCME reader who can explain how regestration were placed on the fuselages of WW11 aircraft.
  5. At what age, do the events writtern about in the last paragraph of Brian Winch, Wizard of Oz column, happen?   (February issue)
  6. Can you do a series on the factories producing ARFT aircraft kits, model engines, radio equipment etc. Also a follow up series on the model kits that RCME have reviewed, after a couple months club flying. So that readers can see if there are any promblems, which will can only show up after regular use.
  7. First class model,up to Chris Foss high stanards. Can collect
  8. Thanks for the information Stefan, but it still does not work. Still get the message ;-unable to find a transmitter connected to the USB interface. Dave
  9. Steve, sounds like a great place to live.
  10. Keith watts has launched a petition which has been submitted to number 10 in an effort to get the government to take action in allowing activities that generate noise, to continue to do so providing that they have been present in a community for a longer period of time than the residents who complain about them. There are increasing cases of new residents moving into a location, then to complain and campaign against activities that have taken place for many years, especially when such noise or should have been obvious before chooing to live in the locality. Keith Watts is proposing a "Grandfather rights" to well established activities and a presumption of rights to continue. This would typically include moving near to a church, only then to complain about the bells, near a airfield, the campaigning for its closure. More details on;- http://petitions.PM.gov.uk/livewithit/
  11. I am promplems in getting Aerofly professional (version 1.8.0.21) to work. It was working OK when using it on my previous computer which had XP installed, my present computer has Vista installed. When trying to use Aerofly, I get a message "no transmitter signal detected". Do I need to download any updates to get it to work? Thanks
