  2. Have you looked at JR XG8, it has 8 channels and is telemetry capable. It uses JR's ne system called DMSS and is a very modern looking transmitter. It has fixed wing, glider and helicopter mixes. It has uses a LiFe battery which is ideal for transmitters. Another good feature is that it can be upgraded by transferring the files onto a sd card. A review can be found on YouTube (I would link it but I can't see the options using the iPad) the review is by rcmodelreviewsEdited By campbell on 02/02/2012 00:14:41
  3. It says that everyone has left the session, it doesn't happen all the time but does most of the time. I have a friend nearby, we can't join each others session but sometimes we can both join someone else's, when we can both join we cant actually see each other fly but we can see other people. I'll try another router to see if that makes a difference.
  4. I dont know if this effects anyone else but i seem to unexpectedly leave a session when i join it after a few minutes. Might just be me.......
  5. Hi guys that would me, i can connect for a while then it just disconnects(thats if i can get into it) Campbell.
  6. Posted by Tony Read 2 on 08/12/2011 13:21:21: Hey Steve!   What sort of set up do you need to run MS flight sim? Phoenix seems to run well on most PC's, is MS more demanding? This is the min requirements for Microsoft FSX....Windows XP SP2 / Windows Vista / Windows 7 Processor: 1.0 Ghz RAM: Windows XP SP2 - 256MB, Windows Vista – 512MB Hard Drive: 14GB Video Card: 32MB DirectX 9 compatible Other: DX9 hardware compatibility and audio board with speakers and/or headphones Online/Multiplayer Requirements: 56.6 kbps or better for online play I use MS FSX very often and the 1Ghz processor would definitely not be enough. On my old PC with 2.4Ghz and 4gb of RAM it was OK, but to get it to perform without having choppy FPS i got a new PC with 4.2Ghz and 8gb of RAM and it can run everythin on max at 100 FPS+ . I would say a computer with 2.5Ghz and 4gb of ram would run it just fine.
  7. Was just reading this article HERE on the daily mail, this hobby is getting bad rep and its a shame. If its not bombs its drugs which is a shame as people may get the wrong impression of the hobby. Campbell
  8. Do you guys think that a AR600 receiver will be good enough to put in a pulse xt 60.The AR600 has enough channels but will it be capable for this plane e.g. range without the remote receivers.  You're thoughts?  Campbell.

  11. I have been putting together a Pulse XT 60 with a saito 100, i am unsure of what size of prop to use, i would like to tame the plane down, i dont want it being too fast.  Thanks, Campbell
