Why can I not thin my paints?

if it has enamel on the tin it will thin with White spirit. I have tins which are at least ten years old and they thin fine. Post a photo of your problem pots. -

I am moderately certain it's a Ryan RV4. Not sure if it survived the cartwheel (when it fell off the photographers table) nobody could be soo ham fisted flying like that

If you look carefully there is a little bit of shade behind the thermometer you could use that, to get a more accurate reading.

Are velodromes in fact sealed buildings where the barometric pressure can be set to specific levels for racing etc. Perhaps this is why it has small doors hidden in the corner.
