  1. Have you ever wondered how BMW and Audis drivers earn their deserved reputations? First of all, they practice their "road craft" in white vans... Enjoy.
  2. If a cure is ever discovered for this "problem" please keep it to yourself. . . Most of us don't want to be cured. 🤣
  3. I had the unfortunate experience of owning an MDS 58. . . It was a horrid engine. Without any exaggeration, it had less power than a plain bearing OS.25 We tried all sorts of tricks to get some power out of it but it stubbornly refused to respond. In the end, we decided it had to die. . . So we fed it some 60% nitro fuel and ran it on a 6 inch prop. . . And it stubbornly refused to die. But it was good fun trying to kill it. Eventually, a knowledgeable clubmate took sympathy on the engine and confidently said he could get it to run properly. . . After six months of pulling his hair out, he threw it in the bin. Best place for it.
  4. Thanks for the info. I will pass it on to the owner.

    Laser 80

Advertising this for a friend who has been out of the hobby for a few years. Laser 80. It is in its original box, complete with the instructions, etc. It is about ten years old but has never been in a model. When it was new, the chap mounted it onto his garden fence, ran it and stood back to admire it. After about three minutes his wife yelled at him to turn it off, and it has been in the box ever since. £200. If you're interested, contact me through the messages system and I will forward the chap's details to you.
  6. An appointment for the doctor: Yup, that all sounds about right. And after you have finally secured an appointment, the doctor won't dare to see you face-to-face but will only give you a phone call. Anyway, that's enough of the real world. ... let's get back to the silly stuff.
  7. My Mrs was going through the wardrobe the other day and excitedly called out, "WOW, I bought this twenty years ago and it still fits." . . . . . . It was a scarf. .
