  1. Are Alan and Paul the same person? postings seem oddly familiar?
  2. Hi Ed I just use it standard! The module that came with it and bought a few extra RX's to go in my planes and VERY happy with it, had it quite a while now! No back light mods for me and I use NIMIH batts in the standard battery holder (yep it is a bit tight but you get used to it and it "gives" after a while! Loads of info available online on how to programme / mix! I have even sussed out the programming for my F16 vectored jet to do all kinds of stuff!! Good luck mate....Dave
  3. Its perfect with my Blaze mate and despite the brand snobs, its a fantastic radio! Ditched my "named" 6 channel and this is my primary radio, never lost signal to nearly out of sight!! Go for it! and yes its fully legal both here and in France Dave
  4. Hi Ghost, hope you got it sorted?? I have one and although I have a ST Models blaze now, it is still a fave of mine! Mine flew great completely stock (11.1v 1300mah, stock motor and esc etc), plenty of power and great climb rate, I even added a camera and it goes waaaaay high LOL!   good luck mate   Dave
  5. Hi Steve, regardless of whatever the seller says / condition etc etc, under the distance selling regulations you are entitled to return ANY item within 7 days for ANY reason you may so wish!. Ebay actually states this at the end of some of their listings!!   Good luck   Dave
  6. I have plenty of room and would find it quite useful!! ? Others?? so thats 99.8% already   Nice one Tim

  10. wow, last time I try to be helpful!   And Steve WO : Download straight from his site to your desktop, drag into your phone apk files done! Not exactly hard but yeah whatever....... my bad.   Will keep any new found stuff to myself in the future   Wingman   Not OCD just a way for intelligent people to keep track of batteries usage, especially as lipo can be dangerous if not monitored, but again whatever!
  11. Copied form a reply post I posted earlier. Thought it might be handy for anyone new like me!! .... Cheers........Dave ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also check out RcLog Lipo (type this into google and you will find a free android app from a guy called Steffan. AMAZING battery log and aircraft log, it even uses mapping so you can pinpoint your flying location on google earth. His site provides QR codes which you print, cut and tape onto your batteries. simply scan the battery pre / post flight and it goes straight to the particular log for the particular battery / model. Too amazing to decribe on here!, go check it out and post your "oh my god you were right" messages here LOL. Send him a virtual beer (£2-ish) and it removes the tiny ads that are on the log. I did even though they are not anoying at all and only tiny, but I was that impressed I thought he deserved it!! (translate his webpage to english with bing if you don't know any german) the log and manual are in Eglish tho, so no worries!!!   Also, google "futaba 9c programming log" and you will find a superb spreadsheet that can be used for any radio to log all the programming and mixes that if you lost you would be ready for suicide LOL, again amazing and if you have android polaris, office to go, or iphone equivelant (if anyone is still hanging on to this old technology compared to android LOL) You will be delighted, I am It is stunning on my samsung galaxy note!.   Enjoy guys and I hope you get some flying in, in this windy weather we are having. I have had a massive learning curve and have gained some great experience from these conditions using my old EZ Hawk, as I have replaced it with a ST Blaze, Parkjet mk2 and others LOL, but this has given me confidence to practice in windier conditions with the hawk before taking out the Blaze etc. Cheers guys, good flying.....EZ

  15. Only fly RTF / ARTF Have seen too many peeps take a lovingly built balsa plane that took months even years to build and watched them crash on maiden and take it home in a crisp packet LOL They are beautiful to look at but too delicate given some of the more robust materials available today!
