  1. You'll probably need to set the temp after selecting Manual mode.
  2. I am also very pleased to of won a prize. Thank you very much.
  3. I put a new ASP46 in a plane last autumn and flew it several times without any deadsticks. But when I flew it a few weeks ago when the temperature was only just above zero, each flight lasted for just a few minutes before going deadstick. The engine was running at about 1/2 throttle and just suddenly stopped without speeding up so I think I can rule out lack of fuel. It was running with an OS No8 plug. I've now fitted a hotter (No6) plug and am waiting to try it again. With other engines I've noticed less deadsticks with a hotter plug even during warmer weather.
  4. Kevin, Hold on, that link is to a plan which is not the Ben Buckle version, it is an updated version with ailerons and removal of free flight design points. I have the real Ben Buckle plan and it shows 2.75" under each bottom wing tip and 3.25" under each top wing tip. Regards, Robert
  5. Hi Bernard, I got the wheels from Sussex Model Centre. They are Kavan balloon airwheeels. Here's a link http://www.sussex-model-centre.co.uk/shopexd.asp?id=1455. Sadly I don't have a video of it flying.
  6. I use 8" bands by JP accessories part no 5507908, which were £1.32 for 6 last time I got some. I use 4 bands in a cross and I stretch them before fitting the first time. The 8" bands are just right the right size. The bands last about a season before starting to perish.
