  5. Thank you John I did hear a crash bang early oh but when I looked out could not see a thing. If I ring Insurance that will start a claim even if settled by the Estate Agents, as a good will token, but I ask how long do I await a call back. The sign has been moved I had to move the car to get Andrea safely to work and on time. My excess will probably cost almost as much as the repair so... David

  11. Posted by Braddock, VC on 24/10/2013 21:57:10: There used to be a lovely show at plumpton park racecourse, I even managed to tolerate db sound. They lost it, a dutch guy used to fly a pulsejet and despite being briefed not to fly over a specific house managed to do it on virtually every visit I made there. Don't think db sound helped by broadcasting he shouldn't be flying there or words to that effect. Show closed down and, unfortunately, damned right too. Ditto Plumpton the next year @ Sandown I saw Hanno flying it again. Bit more room there though; Boy what a sound. So BEB will you chase our VII's with Rockets or bombs or Cheat ... David

  15. Posted by Jamie sawyer on 24/10/2013 14:33:38: I'm torn between the 2 but the main question is where is a good place to buy light ply and things like that online. My local model shop doesn't carry a large selection in stock and I will need to get it else where. Jamie Hi Jamie re:- Stock at LMS. Have you asked them if ordered on X pick up would be... I know my LMS always tell me to order by Tuesday for collection on Thursday for all supplies not stocked Ie. 72" etc. Give them a comprehensive list and I feel sure that they will bend over backwards for you. You will pay a bit more in most cases but they will keep you informed if there are any problems saving you the expense of traveling to and fro. Give Em a try David
  16. Posted by John F on 22/10/2013 10:58:43: Might be worthwhile offering to sell "Nothing particulalry interesting" and see who replies offering to buy with the "latest price"! I know the location of a box of rusty nails. David

  19. One way If you want them formed first before fitting use pine battens etc. drill the size you require then split and glue on the type of abrasive you use. Other way + sand paper to finish, do not for get the masking tape to protect the ribs etc. you don't want sanded. Third way David
