  1. Third'ed , I use them for all my connector/bits and pieces orders. Their cyano is good to when used with a zap long tail nozzel. Very fast turnaround and good comunication.
  2. Dunkelmann I would say this is exactly what your looking for to fly scale aerobatics. Also I think it would suit your flying standard fine, maybe a small step up but nothing major. Just start on nice comfortable low rates and take it easy at first. Hope this helps.

    flaperons

Rusty, I found that by just experimenting at a safe height works well. Not sure about your DX6i but on my Futaba set you can mix in some elevator when the flapperon switch is activated. Its not a fine science and the reaction from one airframe to the next will differ so just do a few low "ish" passes and see what happens. Be prepared to switch back quickly tho . I have just about got the mixing sorted on my wot 4 and it slows it up nicely in calm conditions.
  4. 30? ? Ok so the upper side of midway between inverted and side on. What engine did you fit?
  5. That looks alot better , Thanks for that Andrew. And the mini servo idea is great Phil.
  6. That's a shame, Im just interested to know of any obvious pit falls etc. Alan thats a good suggestion, it would allow my pipe to poke out the bottom too.
  7. Now thats more like it, is it yours Phil ?   Posted by Phil B on 08/04/2012 08:56:07:   Edited By Justin K on 08/04/2012 09:23:22
  8. I have just bought a Turnigy tacho but have had to send it back for a replacement as it kept loosing the reading at high revs. A friend I fly with has the perkins one and that works well.
  9. Thanks for your replies chaps. John I know what your saying but it just spoils the lines of this lovely looking airframe for me . and at nearly £200 I would like it to look niceyes vain I know. Andrew any chance of some photos of your convertion ?
  10. Hi , I am looking at the Pulse xt 60 from Hangar 9 . It looks a very nice and gets good reviews. The only thing that puts me off is the engine orientation, I would like to fit my OS 91 fs but it looks horrible with it stuck upright and the beautiful cowl all cut. Any thoughts on if I can fit it on its side or inverted? Many thanks J
  11. Thanks Steve, I have an OS 91 fs that was destined for another project and a 70 fs. The 91 is not to much bigger than the 70 . I have read that people who have fitted a 70 have found it underpowered in this airframe so maybe I will wait till its assembled and offer the 91 up to see whas happens balance wise. Or then again I could just fit the two stroke I bought to go with it in the first place.
  12. I am looking to maybe fit a 4 stroke into my 46-55 size seagull Edge 540 . Reading on here and other forums it appears to fly well with a 60 size 2 stroke. What would be the rite 4 stroke to fit in this airframe? Any thoughts ? Edited By Justin K on 17/03/2012 19:06:36
  13. I am looking forward to the release of these, and I will now wait to have a look before building the kit version that I had planned to build soon. I would disagree with the "Happily, like the WOT4 ARTF also, it look as if Ripmax have kept a close eye on quality"statement tho? My wot 4 ARTF kit was not the best quality wise and many of the fittings were of a poor standard. These problems are well documented on this and other forums.
  14. I am in the process of building a Mk 2 Pupeteer at the moment. I am fitting an os 52 fs. When I first started the build the prospect of recessing the engine was a bit daunting to be honest but having now crossed that bridge it's easy. Just prep the engine bearers and hold in place with double sided tape. Offer up the engine and pencil around the inlet manifold/ carb assembly and needle valve . Then cut away at the fire wall BUT have the time old "you can always take of more but you can't put it back" thoughts in your mind. Take your time, box in the cuttouts behind the firewall and fuel proof the lot.
  15. I always look at Kings Lynn first when buying online. Great service and fast turnaround.
