  1. paul sounds like going flying was a bit of a challenge then. Mr b i like the design of your trailer, no doubt its a damm sight lighter than mine is!!!
  2. seeing your work with depron has really enspired me to do my next build out of foam. well done, love the buccaneer and love the vulcan as well.
  3. there one big hill between me and the feild, but there are a few long shallow hills which in my oppin are worse. the model on the top left is my fox jet edf it runs on a 5s 4000mah lipo and has only flown once because it cooked the 100amp esc i put in it, turns out its needs a 150amp esc and a little bit of reparing from fire damage but its nearly there.
  4. we do usually take turns in towing it but whenever i tow it it always seems to be uphill.
  5. I have just been reading the November addition of rcm&e and saw a picture and article about someone who has a little trailer that they put there plane on and cycle up to there local field. Upon seeing this I instantly thought "mines bigger" so not wanting to brag to much here are a few pics of mine and my brothers trailer. This had been a joint effort from me, my brother and my dad. It sports 3 layers, a spares draw at the back that has props, starter motor, glow starter, charging pack, lots of tools and lots of other essential bits and pieces. At the front on the bottom layer there is our lipo box, multi charger, transmitter box and glow fuel bottle. The middle layer is for all the wings and of course the all important packed lunch!!! and as you can see the top is where all the fuselages are slotted in. I completely admire Rob in the article for getting on his bike with his plane but lets be honest mines bigger!!!!! as you can see we can get a few planes in it, the most i have ever got in in one go was 8. here is me and my brother (I'm the one with the big hair!!!) finally to give you an idea of scale. one ex member of are club once came up to me as i arrived as ask for a 99 flake!!!
  6. hi all i have been send this by a friend of mine who is about to undergo his engineering project, and had decided he wants to build a rc plane. please could everyone follow the link and fill in his questioner for him, it will help him no end. "LINK"
  7. I said 10-20 mins as that's how long it takes me to cycle up there with mine and my brothers heavy trailer (not sure how heavy but you certainly know where the hills are!!!) full of up to 7ish planes!!!! it even has a built in spares/odds and sods draw. its dual perpose at home serving as a hanger and when we want to go flying we wheel it out connect it to the bike and off we go. its got everything we need it in, it even has a charging pack to run my charger. you name it and its probably in there.......somewhere!!!
