    Almost finished, top flite spitfire. Modelled on the raaf a58-633 that crash in Borneo.

    Hi Peter, got round to weighing the top flite spitfire wing, its fully glassed, sprayed on camo and markings, lights, 4x servos, scale bits and bobs, electric retracts, canons wheels etc.. it will get a final coat of clear but it wont add much to the weight. It came in at a shade under 4lb.   Hi Peter, got round to a part in the build where i can take the wing off to weigh it, so its a fully glassed wing with sprayed on camo and markings, 4x servos, electric retracts, lights, scale bits and bobs!     Looking good Peter, re strengthening the landing gear support area, i would consider glass clothing the inside of the wing area. I can give you some sutable cloth at some point or pos even drop off if needed. I had a similar issue with the spit as i had to remove most of the rib to get the wheels in.

    Well day one of our drone weekend could have been a wash out, but thanks to a bit of good banter and brave flyers we had a go of it, got 2 new memebrs to boot. Hoping for descent weather tomorrow to make up for it. See photos on our site **LINK**

I did try to get support from the east anglia bmfa but was too late to submit the request which was a bit of a blow ( but they have sent the invite to the clubs for me).

    Yes, there are a lot of guys (and girls) coming into the sport with out any idea of the dangers to themselves or others with the props and battery's. We are hoping for some of these flyers locally to come along as we have advertised in maplins and local schools.

    Thats why we are trying to encourage flyers to join a club and the bmfa so we can support them with best practise etc..
