  1. These are generally tried and tested designs. The Wasp orWizard are variations of the same theme. I've built the Mystic and Magician, larger versions of the Wizard and both are good flyers.
  2. This is what I get Eng Doc. Sorry, you do not have permission to view this topic. You may probably perform this action after you login. If you are not a member, you can register here. If you are already logged in then the administrator of the board does not allow this action. Should you have any questions, please contact [email protected].
  3. I have another daft Q from the uninitiated. Does a flat bottomed tank for ff radio assist always leave a bit of fuel at the bottom? Is it best to have a wedge, triangular or round bottom for instance - but this wouldbe harder to make I assume?
  4. Thanks Engine Doc. Cant see the pics as I'm not allowed to log in the Medway club site.
  5. Thanks Peter, helpful as always. I mentioned brass tube as I read somewhere diesel fuel reacts with copper? There a resurgence of interest in diesels in my club including ff radio assist and control line. Do you put little tabs on the flat parts of the tank or solder them in as flat plate? You might remember me, I built Oodlally some years back and it's still flying albeit after a few repairs. Edited By D for Donald on 22/11/2019 09:21:00
  6. What diam brass tube should be used, 1/8th or 3/32?  Also has anyone got some ready drawn tank patterns they are willing to post on here? Edited By D for Donald on 22/11/2019 07:55:11 Edited By D for Donald on 22/11/2019 07:57:51
  7. Ps. I did try to make a T bolt once out of a pan head bolt but it failed under load.
  8. I have one in there now Pat, but I've lost the T screw and it's driving me nuts (how sad) not having the original format available.
  9. Thanks, am aware but after used item if possible.
  10. I need a 2BA compression screw for A PAW 2.49 if anyone can help please?
  11. I love my Ood and goes like a rocket with a glow 32 in it, This will be my 4th season with it I think. I have repaired it about 3 times after various prangs and it now looks like an old warhorse. Mine has a vicious wing stall if flown too slowly so my advice is keep the speed up even when landing. 12. Crikey, I confess I had forgotten about my post of March 2013! Thanks all for your comments but I have sorted out the tuning on my Irvine 53 by using the tube and pin method. My request for the Manual was for completeness as I bought a couple of 53's on ebay back in 2013 and they are still going strong . The Mark 1 is a brilliant engine I have to say.
