  1. Thanks for the advice Dave, I will get one of the very experienced members of my club to check it over for me and give it its maiden flight. Cheers Frazer
  2. Thanks Paul, my mail address is [email protected] I'm glad to learn that the Arising Star is a good choice I can't wait to fly it. Your help is much appreciated.
  3. Thanks for the advice Paul. Putting pins in to the centre of the hinge is such a good idea, why didn’t I think of that. I don’t know what I would do without you helpful chaps on these forums. I will search for the Jumper 25 assembly instructions. Cheers Frazer
  4. If its someone's first model it could be a problem. I didn't say it is a problem for me, I just don't think manufactures should get away with shoddy goods
  5. Anyone thinking of purchasing the Arising Star please be aware that Seagull Models no longer glue and pin the Aileron, Elevator or Rudder hinges. The hinges are in position but you have to glue them yourself. On the box it states, Factory pinned and glued control hinges for ultimate safety. I contacted the Model Shop that I purchased it from and they contacted the wholesaler who in turn contacts Seagull who confirmed that they no longer glue them. I believe this also applies to the Boomerang. I was very miffed about this so that’s why I’m posting this warning. Regards Frazer
  6. Hi I’m building the Cirrus Moth 40 and intend to install a servo for each aileron. As I’m new to this hobby can someone please advice me what size I need. There are so many I find it very confusing. Mind you I’m an old chap now so I find every thing confusing. Cheers Frazer
  7. Thanks for your help and advice chaps; I was given an old Radio Queen that’s needs a bit of tidying up. I didn’t have a clue what size elastic bands I needed. Regards to all Frazer Edited By Frazer Simpson on 31/07/2013 20:09:40 Edited By Frazer Simpson on 31/07/2013 20:11:24
  8. Can anyone please tell me what size rubber bands I need to secure the wings on a Radio Queen please Cheers Frazer Edited By Frazer Simpson on 31/07/2013 16:48:14
  9. Thanks for your help Chris. Its like most things its easy when you know how.
  10. At last I’m ready to put the canopy on my I.C. Whizzza. I have built the removable wing version. Would someone be kind enough to explain how it is attached to the wing and do I have to fabricate something where it butts up against the rear fuselage. Any help will be much appreciated. Cheers Frazer

  12. Many thanks to all you kind chaps who replied to my request for help. I will purchase the electric canopy from Vortex. I was convinced it wouldn’t fit the I.C. version as its .2” wider. That’s solved my problem. I will still try to make one using Grahams method to see if I’m able to do it. If I can I won’t have to worry about canopies ever again. The build quality of the Whizzzza shown on this thread are most impressive.
