  1. at the risk of being Banished from this forum... FOR Flux-Ring Sakes Turn the Bliddy Email NOTIFICATION OFF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11 i have followed the link to disable the BLIDDY THING !Q!!
  2. part of the reason i didnt continue posting was the Bliddy emails i was getting, do i need the emails NO !! do i want the emails NO so if i dont need or want something why am i sent them ! i want to support the forum in anyway possible with build threads Pics ideas and learn from other members but it was good not to online to 20 emails to the RCM&E forum !! its early days and good things come from feedback and ideas Ray
  3. The LongHorsely Event is my local event, i will be in attendance but i wont be flying! if any pilots who will attend the show wish to fly my designs please send me an email to [email protected] there is not an electric slot planned but as always the Leccy models are on stand by incase the REAL MODELS can not fly due to weather or a failure to start!!! strange as it may sound.. i have always considered my designs to be a REAL Model ! connect battery pack.. and throttle up.. and Enjoy.. sounds Real Enough to me hahaha Ray
  4. David i have not had any mid airs ever, my flying site is 20 yards away in the heart of M.O.D. country, there was an agreement that "we" the MOD and i would go Knock for Knock ! BUT..they have revoked my flying site for duration whilst they are playing with their flying toys :-(( they were ok until i started flying my latest design that goes vertical at 7000 feet per minute ! i did mention it was a M.O.D aircraft ! "Made Of Depron" !! but they didnt see the funny side hahah i hope to get notification thati can fly again soon Ray
  5. Stefan www.BRChobbies.co.uk do a range of motors that have a direct I.C equivalent.. it may be helpful to you Ray
  6. Same here for thread builds, it raises lots of interest and ideas and gems of information, living 25-35 miles from my nearest club so i turn to the internet R/C forums for help ideas and dare i say it.. Promote my kits, it also is an excellent way put my reputation and designs up for comment! as i said there is no such thing as a bad Comment.. just feedback that you take on board to make a better product/service, last year was Brill to meet people at the airshows who use the forums and i am looking forward to 2007 airshows, roll on spring time Ray
  7. Geronimo i will be there :-) its My Local LOCAL event only 10 miles away, i was at Winterton and watched the ground runs tests of Keith Mitchells Hunter, cant wait to see that one in the air :-) last year was Brill and its a red Letter day/weekend marked on the calander :-) Ray
  8. Tom a tool bar is a must.. as i write this message it would be Brill to click on a Icon like the "Send it to Friend" Icon and be able to upload a link or a picture directly, picture appoval? dont know why appoval is needed ! some times i say and post messages that are close to the wire ! for instance.. "here is a Picture of Propless Bird" followed by Picture of a Jet! open the forum and let people post links and Pics and if anyone steps over the line Shoot them Outta the Ball Park ! Ray
  9. Tom cheers for that :-) as you can guess i am comfortable on the P.C pressing buttons and clicking the mouse but when it comes to URL[{]{]URL i am not so good at :-( i liken it to remembering a 10 digit telephone number.. One Digit wrong and your talking to someone 500 miles away or you get an un-obtainable tone hahah i know this is the early days of the forum and i want to support and help.. not with critiacl comment but with a wish list of things what the average(i.e me) pc user would like to see, Ray
  10. Why O WHY dit i expect it to work ! :-(((
  11. Robin would still like to see a tool bar at the top of the message board, i like to click the required action rather than http://depronjet.vstore.ca/[/URL] lets see if it works :-
  12. Hi again i am suprised that ebedded pictures in a posting cant be done and that pictures are subject to approval for the gallery, also active links too, we are all like minded r/c enthusiasts and want to share links and pictures as well as words :-) i activley use other R/C forums and by and large they are self police-ing and are genrally good fun and instructive and constructive, if anyone dosnt like a thread or thinks its crossed the line or broken forum rules there is always "The Red Button" :-) Ray
  13. DepronJet

    Stop it!

from my point of view i welcome the RCM&E forum open arms, i live about 40 miles from my nearest flying site and if r/c pilots and builders are prepaired to share info and ideas that i can access on this forum then i am ready to learn and try to help others too ! i hope to help and learn on here.. not just locally but from all corners of the UK, there is wealth of information and help at the click of a mouse and the tap of a the keyboard.. that is that what a forum is all about in my mind ! Ray
  14. Tom it looked like it uploaded, i will try again, if there is one wrong way to do it you can depend on me to find it haha i will give it another whirl Ray
  15. Andy i got an email and at the bottom is says to disable the emails you follow the link :-) http://www.modelflying.co.uk/forum/dr.asp?R=1&T=58 Ray
  16. Andy i spotted the box at the bottom that you need to UN-Tick.. would be better if you actually need to Tick it than Un-tick it i un-ticked it before i sent this :-)
  17. the Best advice i could give to a new modeller is if you buy one of those vector thrust electric models just remember the throttle doesnt work the same way ! once you are smitten by R/C flight get yourself along to your local flying club and learn from really friendly people who will help you every step of the way, i say this because i am self taught and it took nearly 4 months of simulator flying and 2-3 months of actual flying to get into mode 2 ! So Now i can Prang them at high speed in Mode 2 :-)
  18. just tried to upload a pic to my profile and gallery.. we shall see if they appear
  19. Tom Many Thanks for the welcome to the forum, as long as the forum promotes R/C flight and enjoyment of the hobby then i will keep posting messages.. and on the rare occasion try to help new comers to the hobby, keep up the excellent work Ray
