  1. Try office supply outlets rather than craft stores, Staples sell it, although in my locale an independant has it chaper! Not sure if do it by mail ... wbsdirect.com ...Thats on the Isle of Wight btw.
  2. I would love to support my LMS more, I do go there and buy bits, especially as the proprieter is a member of the same flying club as me. But, he has a limited stock holding so I tend to buy online. Now this isn't too bad for some things, but my BIG problem is POSTAGE!!! I live on the Isle of Wight, which apparently in some suppliers eyes is roughly 47 million light years outside of our galaxy and therefore they either won't ship there or if they do require amounts of postage that would cripple the economy of some small countries!!! A recent example.. I'm currently just completing drawing up the plans for my latest project and producing a materials list, motor, esc, servos, etc etc, no problem, But BALSA..... wow!! all I want is a few sheets of 4" x 36" of varying thicknesses and some triangular stock.. The postage one one site was in excess of £26.00 for roughly £30.00 worth of wood!!! The irony of it is that my house, although being on the isle of Wight actually has a mainland ( Portsmouth) post code, so the post office see me as mainland Britain.. I personally am looking forward to global warming as it might just mean i can grow my own balsa over here on this 'OFFSHORE' territory!! Rant over..
  3. OOH OOH OOH.. Count me in for a freeie!!!
