  15. Im selling my Tarot/Trex 450 pro to fund my first plane.. Take a lookie **LINK**
  16. Well i still have not bought a plane yet as it looks like the only way to fund it will to be to sell my Helis.. Now i have been flying my MCPX and trying to hover my 450 Pro but its costing me a fortune in repairs. I just cant seem to get it right. I also have Pheonix Flight Sim and i am the same trying to hover the helis on there.. But i seemed to be able to fly the airplanes with no problems including taking off and landing...Now my question is is it really easier to fly and land a plane than hover a helicopter?? Cheers Chris
  17. Ok looks like the Wot 4 Foam-e looks like the one for me. Now how do you know when you are ready to move on the a different airplane? Ultimately i will want to head towards scale flying but i am unsure of what sort of aircraft you would go through to get there? I mean what would be after the foam-e? And do you think after 1 year of flying the foam-e you would be ready to move on to the next step?? Sorry for all the questions but coming from helis i know there is a lot to learn and takes absolutly ages to start getting any good at flying. lol
  18. both look pretty good at first glance although the mentor needs 3200 lipos and mine are only 2200. I didnt really want to fork out for extra batteries if i could help it.. Cheers for the ifo so far guys.. Keep em coming
  19. oh i also already have a DX6i do no tranny needed
  20. Hiya all. Well 1st a little about myself. My name is chris and i started of with R/C Touring cars about 10 years ago and then last year decided to try the mad world of electric Helis. Now i have been flying a Tarot 450 pro(not very well though lol) for a couple of months but i just dont seem to enjoy flying helis as much as i thought i would. To put it simple i dont find it fun. Now i have always loved airplanes since a child but have never actually flown one but i am thinking of converting over to airplanes now as i think i will enjoy it more than the helis. The only real reason i got into helis was because a couple of friends have them but my true love has always been airplanes. So i am asking you lot what sort of plane should a go for 1st? I want to try and stick to electric as i have some 3s 2200 lipos and charger already for my helis so what do you people suggest? Are foamies a good way to start? What about the parkzone Spits?? Any good for a newbie? Looking forward to your answers fellas Cheers Chris
