A very very big thank you to all who attended ukcaa retford today. I would like to think that everyone had a good time - i know I certainly did!. Many thanks to retford's club for the use of the field and facilities. Special thanks to those who prepared the field - you know I know who you are. The field was a credit to you! Minty.

I used to have the smaller Sapir 25 with an Irvine Q40 in it and it was absolutely superb as a small club flier. So good in fact that I flew it so much that I wore 2 motors out!. I also have a "Smart move" with an OS 91 2 stoke in it , well it did have until I took it out to use in my "Pacemaker". I use the "Pacemaker" now because it flies slower and I believe better. I also thought the "Smart move" was a little too new. Minty

Just a bit of info for PC about my Bullet. As hangar 9 nut says, my Bullet is not a ripmax version but rather a bit of a hybrid using a fibre fuz from a Paul bardoe limited run (2 I believe) and a wing made by Steve Dunning. Hope this helps Minty

Yes Graham I still have the smart move. Flies very nice if a little fast - well it did until I took the OS 91 2 stroke out to fit in the Pacemaker which you have seen any times on the UKCAA circuit. Smart move first flew Jan 2004 with an ASP 91 4 stroke which needed to be on top of its game. Minty

Hi Ian, these are the results of the prop tests I did using my 3548 1100kv:- 10x7 jamara 45amp 650w 10x7 apce 40amp 560w 10x7 wood 36amp 523w Minty

Hi Ian, I think the air intakes that I used were from slec. Just make sure that you can fit a large enough diameter prop for the 900kv motor. I use that one in my addiction X with a 13" prop.
