  1. These plans are for a 65" span and a 87" span scale model of the bulldog.Has anyone built either of these and if so information regarding them such as wood packs/cad packs/vac packs and details of wood required to build. etc etc I know that the canopy is available for the 65" span model from Sarik .Also as this smaller model was a RCM&E Plan was it featured in a backdated copy of the magazine. Engine selection and flying characteristics would also be of great interest
  2. Many thanks for your help on that one...Got it now Not sure if I can adapt it to use a 1/3 scale head and shoulders then build a full body onto it Could end up looking like Herman Munster Might give it a try Brian
  3. Where are the pilot templates that are mentioned on page 68 of the last mag[August] Flycatcher pro plan states download on modelflying.co.uk ??
  4. Hi .Good Morning to you all, Many thanks for the advice and experience regarding the Flair Taube and possible tailerons . Ill take that on board and build without them and let all know how I get along with it Some of the pics you have sent are excellent and the builds look really good I might just copy some of the colour schemes that you have adopted I will be putting the plans for the Taube on the building board as soon as I finally complete my lengthy build of the 1/3 scale Druine Turbulent that seems to have taken for ever but hopefully will be worth it...Does anybody know where to get a 1/3 scale full body pilot that doesn't cost a fortune ? Again many thanks to all Brian
  5. Has anybody built this kit and modified the wing to include operating ailerons any info on this "non scale" modification and results when flying would be of great interest
  6. Hi Sorry I posted this on the wrong thread [Should put lenses in before working on PC] I am looking for a pilot for my Precedent Turbulent that I am just completing I found a great pilot for the patriot and it looks just the job 1/5 or 1/6 approx as you said I will have a look at J Perkins and see what they have Thanks
  7. 1/3 scale pilots seem difficult to get hold of and are indeed very expensive Anything less than a 1/3 in this model will look wrong Anyone got any ideas many thanks
  8. Morning The Flair catalogue recommended .20 to 25 2 stroke alt .30 to .40 4 stroke I have an unbuilt kit in the loft waiting space on the building board to get started I might use it to try out an electric conversion but I am unsure at present Looks like a good kit you have got hold of
  9. Anyone out there built or building this kit It is the next one onto my building board and any previous / on-going experience would be very helpful.
