  1. Hi Need help on final fitting of cowl - have made cut outs to suite 40 size ic engine but cannot get the cowl over the engine to fix at the fuselage size. Can anyone offer some guidance. Thanks Keith Burrows
  2. Hi Paul A bit late seeing your "post" - I decided on a yellow scheme with profilm and red solarfilm on the undersides. I changed my e-mail address recently so probably lost any update communication from Modelflying. I also used some transparent yellow on the "open part of the wing " structure. I am now trying to sort out the cowl fixing - have you got that far yet??? Have not flown it yet!! Regards Keith
  3. Hi Paul - just seen your post re Sky 40. I have just got to the covering stage with the same model which was a build feature in RCM&E mag in August 2006. I got my kit from Slec and it came with all the bits. Tony Nijhuis recommended a Flight Power Evolution Synergy Kit for the electric version if you have not already found a solution.

  5. Hi can anyone help me with final set up for a 450 electric Heli. Swash plate set up and operating OK. Problem trying to get the blades to operate. How should the switches on the top of the Tx be set up? in particular the left hand one 3 position "E" and the right hand 2 position "G"?? Thanks  @import url(http://www.modelflying.co.uk/CuteEditor_Files/Style/SyntaxHighlighter.css);@import url(/CuteEditor_Files/public_forums.css);@import url(http://www.modelflying.co.uk/CuteEditor_Files/Style/SyntaxHighlighter.css);@import url(/CuteEditor_Files/public_forums.css);Edited By Keith Burrows on 17/01/2012 17:43:23
  6. Thanks for Pics. It is as I assumed but was baffled as I couldn't get a successful bind. Following your reply I realise my mistake was in attaching the battery to the Rx FIRST. Bind now completed. Thanks again Keith @import url(http://www.modelflying.co.uk/CuteEditor_Files/Style/SyntaxHighlighter.css);@import url(/CuteEditor_Files/public_forums.css);
  7. I recently acquired an Orange FASST rx to go with my Futaba T 7C 2.4Ghz transmitter. Just getting round to the binding process but my RX did not come with any instructions. Can anyone point out EXACTLY where the bind button/switch is positioned on the receiver. 8. Hi Eric Just looked at Twister heli and it seems that once the flybar and blades have been removed the internal chassis should just drop down out of the body. Is it that simple or am I missing something?? Keith B
  9. Hi Eric Thanks for your comments - just picked them up!! Any more practical suggestions - is it just a question of patience and time?? By "Hard Part" do you mean difficult to access or remembering which goes where? Keith B
  10. Thanks Owen for your reply I can see the red & black wires at either end of battery compartment and assume they need to be detached and soldered to a plug set? What is a T plug?. Do you need to buy some sort of male & feamle plug set?  Sorry to be a bit thick!! Keith
  11. Hi anyone changed the Fuselage/body on a Twister Hawk?? I have seen an Augusta EH 113 body which I quite fancy. Any tips on a change over would be grrrreeeeat.
  12. Hi New to this game but learnig to fly mine in the garage. So far only hit the garage door once - knocked the top balance arm off.
  13. Anyone sorted out rechargebale batteries for Hawk Transmitter - other than AA dry or rechargeable. I understand there is a difficulty obtaining a suitable plug to attach battery pack into TX. Thanks
