 Thanks guys for the replies. I have since replaced the ESC with a 40A Overlander card programmable unit. I programmed this for soft start and have not had the problem occur again - to me being ignorant of things electrical it has been like witchcraft ie the problem has gone but I don't really know why!!!!!

 When I fly my Eflite Extra it sounds as though the motor revs are varying in spite of a constant throttle setting. I have tried changing the motor and also the ESC to no effect. Could this be due to airflow thro'' the cowling? Several people have remarked on it but none of the local "experts" can come up with an explanation. I have just bought a lower pitch prop to try but as usual the weather has gone ape again so will have to curb my enthusiasm for a week or two. Any suggestions as to what it could be would be welcome....!!???

 Hi Folks: Just got back into flying after a miserable cold, damp and long winter, had my house flooded by British Gas after new boiler installation ! Now looking forward to a warm idyllic Summertime with Zephyr like breezes and lots of Sunshine too!  (I can dream can't I and it can't be taxed??) Well after a shaky start with  two ESC's and one motor going tits up have now got everything to my liking ! Well Rocket you're beginning to bring back a lot of memories to me when I lived in Perranporth before the war ended. That was the days when Perran had two railway stations. I used to get the train from The Halt at Perran into the Metropolis of Truro after changing at Chacewater and then WALK to school at the Cathedral + we had school on Saturday mornings too. (how did we manage in those difficult post war years?) It was then in 1946 I emigrated to Bristol to join the Bristol Aeroplane Company as an apprentice heigh ho - distant memories - not all bad ones!  

Well Rocket in spite of your feelings I see from todays newspaper (Express) that Gordon went and saw Elizabeth and got her signature to approve this latest bit of EU trickery and flew the document to Italy. What became of the Referendum????? Next thing to being a Traitor in my opinion

It looks like poor old Prudence is about to get the push by Gordon. What did she do  to incur Gordon's wrath perhaps she wasn't working like the rest of Labour /Gordon's plans for us poor mortals! Just felt my pulse so I'm still working but losing weight!!!!

There's a book available now entitled "Gordon is a Moron" I think that the author will need to go to issue 2. I suggest the title now should be "Gordon is now proving he's candidate No1 to replace Mr Mugabwe" Or if that's too long for a title how about "This man's an IDIOT" This week's easy peasy question is who gave away the UK's Gold Reserves?    (Japanese version)

Well Ron down ere by Zummerset where Oi do live there's a guy who's developed or bred a 4legged chicken so that you do get 4 drumsticks to a bird. When oi did ask un what they did taste loik er zed "Oi dunno can't ketch the buggers as they do run too fast"!
