  1. Posted by Denis Watkins on 28/03/2017 18:52:05: Looks like a Precedent T240 It does though i the cowl is off, i'll look into the old Precedent just now as never thought of that, Thanks Dennis
  2. Hello everyone, I've just got myself a lovely Husky and needing help to identify the kit or plan it was built from. It has 108" span, 50 cc CRRC , dual elevator servos in the tail, push/pull rudder and dual aileron servos. Lovely aircraft though would like to read up more about her, Any thought/views/tips etc welcome, Scott Photo to follow
  3. I add steak strips to the slow cooker. 160ml red cola, 4 tablespoons of castor sugar, sugar snap peas, babycorn and 2 bottle of regga reggae bbq sauce. cook on low heat for 5 hours and ahh bisto you have melt in the mouth steak perfect with mashed tatties or cous cous
  4. Whats the chances it will fly ok on 3 channels? Rudder, Elevator and throttle like the Parkzone Radian
  5. Hi again... I'm really confused about these flybarless systems! I've ordered an Align 3GX for my CopterX kit. It's meant to have 3 flight modes. What do they do? Also do i still need a Gyro as theres lots of varied information on how well it holds the tail. Should have stuck with flybar though looking for a more scale look now Thanks in advance Scott
  6. Wow! To have the cheek to try say this still works finehttp://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/rc-helicopter-6ch-/172406989744?_trkparms=aid%253D222007%2526algo%253DSIC.MBE%2526ao%253D1%2526asc%253D20150519202351%2526meid%253Da49b14b42d354e4da77b9d258ca3c23b%2526pid%253D100408%2526rk%253D12%2526rkt%253D25%2526sd%253D232139939665&_trksid=p2056116.c100408.m2460
  7. Shaft is true and blades are balanced. Flies perfectly without the floats. The floats begin to shake when there attached. Possibly downwash?
  8. Had my first ever try at float flying today and although it improved balance considerably the floats really shook up in the air! There homebuilt from a childs foam swim noodle. Have braced them all i can though experiencing violent vibes that then travel through the heli. Any advice? Not planning on keeping them attached. Only want to experience landing and taking off from water. Regards Scott
  9. Hi Frank yes its a 120 degree swash. Thank you so much for the breakdown on how the system works! I'll have a look at BeastX nonow then report back what i finally decide to purchase. Colin its my worst nightmare when a helicopter has previously been setup for extreme 3d! I've flown similar and felt beyond twitchy. Scott
  10. Hi Richard My 5 blade head is just blades and no flybar. I spooled it up today and it wants to fly though feel something isn't right. In theory she should fly though feel there's not enough bite in the tail to compensate the extra blades either. I've sent youtubers messages as many 5 blades flying but no reply Scott
  11. I hate the term "Drone".... Why not the proper term "Quadcopter"
  12. Much underrated is the Staufenbiel WE CAN FLY! 1460mm span, tri-cycle undercarriage and at £150 complete with Spektrum dxe you can't go wrong. Flies very nice, slow and gentle and doesn't mind a breeze
  13. I've just bought a 5 blade head unit for my Esky Belt Cp 450 size helicopter. I also have the Md500 scale fuselage. All my heli's have traditional flybar heads so this is where i'm stuck scratching my head. Is the Spektrum AR7300BX flybarless receiver what i need? I've seen other flybarless controllers though cant find out much info on what they actually do. Maybe i'm over thinking it all. Really enjoying flying circuits with my heli's and wanting to progress with more scalelike models. Thank you Scott
  14. Ok so from leaving my wife and to moving on with a young family has been difficult though i really wouldn't replace it.I met a lovely lady at a model flying field and she's very keen I've bought my lady a Blade 120s and she has got to grips pretty quickly!. My step children are 2 and 9. Our 2 years old loves everything flying and buttons though 9 years old seems frightened of flying objects. Hoping to get them more involved. As this is a very shady area for me with small aircraft what do you all advise
  15. If one can be found! ARC Jupiter. Solid low wing aircraft. Blow moulded plastic skinned and is great for rough tarmac or long grass
  16. Very sad and thoughts go out to Geoff's family. I remember watching this post when this beautiful build began. Rip
  17. FOUND! With thanks to all i have been in contact with Dornoch Model Flying Club and will visit tomorrow. Even more so there Helicopter friendly. Looking forward to tomorrow morning Thanks again and happy flying! Scott
  18. Yes i was along today and spoke to Mike there. Got a contact number and left a message. Thanks for all the help. Much appreciated
  19. Thanks for clearing that up Dennis. Hopefully a club will have a few heli's or i'll be back to some aircraft flying
  20. Looking into that now John. There's many "Sketchy" google topics on various. Going to get up early tomorrow and take a wonder round. Thanks for the info! Hopefully i find a club soon and one that has other helicopter pilots! The last club near Edinburgh had a heli zone though do any allow circuit flying with aircraft?
