  1. Hi Nick, the wheels are 5" and are reasonably solid..They are a combination of foam and rubber, they are firm. I only rotate and land on grass and dont have any noseover issues. Saying that, it wouldnt be to difficult to achieve with the Stampe. I have no idea who the makers are, I found them in a box in my local model shop. Here is there web address. www.inwoodmodels.com Cheers Tony aka.pegasus
  2. Nick, she has a DLE 35R with a browns ring a modified muffler so as none of the cowl is hacked to accommodate. Radio is a 14SG with a R7018SB receiver with dual Batteries. All servos are digital SBus. Apart from a little trim on rotation she had an un-eventual maiden. This started of as an Slec kit. I ended up customizing and scratch building the rest of the plane. Still some fine detailing to go. Tony
  3. I have put the picture up twice now. It keeps being taken down for some reason. How is one supposed to post pictures?
  4. My 1/4 scale Stampe on finals after a very successful maiden. A long project building this plane..
  5. hi Stampe builders paid a trip up to Duxford to see the refurbished American Museum. Wow..worth a visit. I was given permission to cross the red line to take some more pictures of the Stampe. I needed some close up shots. Some of you may find them helpfull. they are in the Albums titled: Stampe Details

  15. Thanks Cymaz, link works perfectly. Very helpful pictures in there..... Cheers...
  16. Hi Cymaz, thanks for your comment. Appreciated. I must admit it does add to the realism of the STAMPE. Working on putting the connection rods in. Would like to see the photo you have. Cheers Bud
  17. Hi STAMPE lovers I have the Futaba 14SG and I am using SBus servos throughout my STAMPE. A small problem I have been told about is the 5% differential between the top and the bottom ailerons. Not an easy thing to do mechanically. To solve this problem I have put SBus servos in the top wing. Also SBus in the lower wing. Now all I do is dial up 5% less throw on the lower servos. Hopefully issue solved. It also removes having to put connecting rods between the ailerons. One thing less to have to connect up at the site. Any one have any comments on this, I would to hear from you before I cover the wings. Cheers Buds
  18. Hi Micheal, good to hear back from you. I will post the next series of piccys up here. i just need some finer shots of the wing rigging various panels and the pilots seat. Yeah, she was a real snot. I did say as I walked away I would be happy to park my P51d and my P40 warhawk At Duxford, she was completely stumped for a reply. What I didn't tell her was they are 1/5 scale RC models. I love the warbirds. Cheers Bud
