  1. Hi Ton, Thanks for your reply. Normally I use Hobby King or Giant Shark . I have asked for notification from giant shark for when they have stock of the Typhoon motors, but how long it will be before they get stock don’t know. Fuselage / wing and tail are made and used the canopy and hatch from RBC Kits (good quality). Will try a photo when all built. Graham
  2. Hi all,Can anyone recomend an alternative motor that will fitt instead of the typhoon motor as i am unable to get one. Graham Edited By Pete B - Moderator on 16/07/2013 15:03:16
  3. Built my panther but one thing i dont understand is that the advancing blade gives the most lift, and this is on the right, but the head has 2deg left tilt. My thinking is that this will cause the aircraft to tilt to the left, so i would have thought that the head would have 2deg right tilt. I know that left tilt does work as i have flown mine. Can this be explained.
  4. Hi Chaps Sorry but unable to do a video. AUW is 2.25 Kg, power is the Hobbyking NTM42-38-750KV motor with 14/6 prop running on 4 cells. The CofG is placed as on the plan. Thinking about it, is the tilting to the left the torque reaction. My location is Metheringham which is just south of Lincoln. Anyone near. Graham
  5. Well tried for first flight but was unable to achieve a good rotor RPM, and also the aircraft would tilt to the left when I had got the aircraft up to a good forward speed, but not lifting off. Was doing as said, slowly accelerate, tilt head back slightly until tail lifts off, but no joy. Head is set up at 6 deg rear and 2 deg left and got the .4mm shims fitted. Any ideas please.
