Hi thanks for that I hope that Horizon after finding the fault will issue a quote for repair and I can feed the info you provided back to them.I have 9 orange receivers working ok on my pre 2015 TX and on the dx6i that's being repaired.

Hi Pete thanks for that I purchased the dx6i dsmx in 2013 so that is why it worked ok on my orange receivers.I thought of getting a second hand dx6i but on ebay they were costing more than a new dsmx.Any way I decided to send my faulty to Horizon for repair thanks for the info

Some time ago I purchased a Spektrum dx6i dsm2.Along with this Tx I purchased 9 orange rx plus satellite rx this combination worked ok.Later I purchased a dx6i dsmx Tx which also worked ok with the dsm2 receivers.The dsm2 TX became faulty and sort to get another dsmx TX.I was advised by suppliers that the dsmx could not be used with dsm2 receivers but the manual clearly states that the dsmx TX can be used with all dsm2 receivers do I need to ditch all my receivers

Hi Thanks for info a friend suggested c of g at about a third of wing cord which would put it under the main spare which would seem about right Merv

I have just found in my loft a plan of a hurricane for single channel and think at 50" it would make an excellent electric conversion the only problem being that no c of g is marked on the plan and may be a bit tricky to fly by guessing the c of g.It is a very old plan but wondered if anyone had built and flown one Merv

I am in favour of the pay by mileage if the road tax is removed.As a state pensioner I do very little mileage just model flying/shopping/and a visit to Yarmouth once a year.The big crunch here is people who live miles from family and friends anyway this greedy government will put the mileage on and also increase the road tax you see' merv
