I had a v reg 530d and I put 200,000miles on it and I can say it never let me down iam now looking for an estate car and its looking like it will be the same I got 40 to the gallon,my other choice is an e class Merc but the BM is miles ahead of the Merc repair bills and fuel are all better on the BM my mate had 6 Mercs as company cars and he has just got shot of them all to many electrical problems.
  2. I have a Junior 60 with OS 40fs I just want something smaller for the 26!Thats nice Ken mine is antique blue and cream.
  3. I just want an aeroplane half the size of the Junior 60 to put my OS into so I can fly and takeoff at half throttle so it is nice and quiet and engine is not stressed !
  4. Steve I have a Junior 60 with OS 40fs which originally was built for OS 26fs but decided it was not enough power so looking for something smaller for the 26
  5. Looking for model for OS 26fs,i thought of Junior 30 or scaled up Tomboy any other ideas or am I in the wrong ball park ?

I agree with Biggles they are a bit of a handful so I would go for Super Tigre,Webra,OS or HP,all plentifull second hand I have a Hangar 9 Phoenix 7 with OS 55,plenty of power so you have a big choice to pick from but stay clear of Rossi !   7. I have a Flair Junior 60 powered by an old OS 40fs it flys great on half throttle and will fly for 15 mins on a 4 ounce tank,it does tend to climb on any more than half throttle, once I find out how to post photo's I will. Edited By tony bloomfield on 27/10/2013 19:43:43
  8. Yes Stewart in a big way but this year I had a new hip fitted so no flying since july I fly at Slough where do you fly?
  9. Dave I went twice in the 90's and it was good going by the video's I've watched on you tube its bigger and better iam planning on going myself next year.
  10. Years ago I had a Laser 75 in an Acrowat and Wots Wot and had plenty of room for motors,is the new Laser 80 bigger or is the artf Acrowat a different size?

Hello,iam Tony i live in Watford and fly in Slough,i mainly fly aerobatic planes but have a soft spot for vintage.I learnt to fly in 73 and flew for a few years then got married had kids went model car racing with my son for 15 years and now back flying again,the biggest change i have seen is in the electric side of the hobby and of course turbines
