  1. I have a WOT trainer and DX6 transmitter. Maybe I would be better just flying it and getting used to training my thumbs and fingers from the start.
  2. Total flying novice here, looking to start setting up radio for mixes of d/r and expo settings. Can you recommend a couple of mixes for the Ailerons, Elevators and Rudder to get me started for a safe flying experience that is after I have worked out how to program them in . Is it possible to program all three into one 3 position switch ? Or will I need a switch for Ailerons, another for Elevators and Rudder making 3 switches in total I have a Spectrum radio if that helps. Ideally I would like one switch set at position 0 as standard, position 1 at 75%, position 2 at 50%. You can tell I,m confused.

There is a slight tipping down at the front when balancing, mine was border line and I think it depends on how your battery is positioned. Do this before tank has fuel in.

Thanks Justin, a few more tweaks and I will be down again. Still haven't grasped the programming on transmitter but then it's not my favourite job.

Not a bad day, first off my engine refused to start even though it was no problem the other day. Then the prop came loose and the plastic spinner cover lugs broke off. Need a new better one. Got it going with just the prop on only we had problems buddy`ing the Dx6 with another Spectrum on a wire. We couldn't work how to program it so my instructor flew it and put it through its paces. It was nice to see and he didn't have to do much trimming. Next time I will be sorted more with a mat to kneel on to stop my gear getting covered in mud and I will make a bag to put the wing in during transport or its not going to last long

Yes I`m still thinking about it before I cut them off. Might cut them and leave just enough to put one bend in and a clip at a later date after it`s been inspected by my club mates. The servos I suspect are a bit and they are making some noise even after trimming. I can trim them so they go quiet but next time I try it the noise comes back again even though there hardly moving.
  14. Another question, When you have a Lithium Iron battery in it and the Tx is switched off will it show any lights whilst charging. Only the Spectrum charger for it has no led`s in the case.

Bit more done, tank back in Receiver stuck down on neoprene base, same with battery and a few wires. Do you think its good enough ? Still undecided what to do with wires weather to bend or use small screw locks Nearly there

Posted by Keith Evans 3 on 29/11/2014 11:45:39: I find an old pop rivet cut down a bit and the stem bent at right angles makes for a very good fuel tube stopper. Good idea !!

Regarding the prop there is really no where for these spacers to go and there is nothing in the destructions If you know where give me a shout,

I have a small plug which came with the box of bits I got off eBay, but its the length of tube hanging down. If I cut it short it will be ok for flying but no good for filling. There`s a few spare holes with nut-serts for the front wheel mount I could use to hold the tube, its just finding the right thing to do it with. I have so many bits but never the right one
