  1. Hi All It is with deep regret that I must inform you that producing blades is no longer a viable proposition and have closed the shop. It has been a lot of fun and have learnt an awful lot along the way and met some very nice people, but as I said, it is not viable anymore. Kind regards John
  2.   Hi All This is just to let you know that I will be going into hospital in a few weeks for a knee replacement. I do not think I will be able to make any more blades during the foreseeable future. I would imagine late January at the earliest. However, I will review the situation after Christmas. I appreciate your support over the last couple of years. Regards   John A J Blades Edited By John AJ Blades on 28/10/2015 20:13:59
  3. Hi I have had a few requests to make more of our 700mm x 60mm blades. As these blades are made from 900mm long blanks, if anybody wants a set of un-cut blades, please let me know. The cost will be the same. Postage may be a little more but not sure until I try it. This will also be probably the last run of these blades. When they are gone, they are gone. John, A J Blades
  4. Hi I have been informed by Big T that my 700 blades transform the flying characteristics of the latest AC10. These blades are currently out of stock but if enough people email me saying they want a set I will make some at the end of the month when I return from my holiday. Please send an email to AJ Blades stating that you want a set and I will see what I can do to help. Regards John AJ Blades
  5. Hi Gary According to our records, we have sold around 70 sets of blades for the Atom since mid-September. Yes some may have been for other models but I suspect that most were for the Atom. Wishing you all a merry christmas and a happy new year. John and Alan, AJ Blades
  6. Hi All Just to let you know  AJ Blades will be closed from Friday, 12th December 2014 opening again on Monday 5th January 2015. Merry Christmas to you all.   John Edited By John AJ Blades on 09/12/2014 21:17:09
  7. Hi everybody As we have sold quite a few of our AJAYs, I was wondering how people have got on with building the kit and your flying experiences with your model. Feedback from customers is always very helpful as it helps us provide even better models. Regards John A J Blades
  8. Hi The demand for our 450 blades have been phenominal. We ran out the weekend but are pleased to announce the 450 blades are back in stock. Regards John A J Blades
  9. Hi Autogyro fans I am pleased to tell you that I am back from my holiday; therefore the AJ Blades shop is now open again. Regards John
  10. Hi Tom I think you are probably right about the single axis version but it was just an idea that Alan and I had, offering a model that could be made in either configuration by the builder. Regards John A J Blades
  11. Thanks for all your help Tom. What a fantastic colour scheme? I think you have set the trend for what the Ajay looks like. Looking forward to the single function head version with elevator to see how that goes. Regards John A J Blades
