Acrylics + cellulose can sometimes react against each other Jack, may just be I didn't leave enough drying time between coats. Now I stick to one type just in case.

Vista for me Steve
Looks good and it's different, also looks like it'll do a bit like the Pander as well.

Given the numbers that attended and flew I thought it went well. If you start giving slots to every different style and discipline you will lose some of the fun of it, and a lot of the flying time. Not to mention creating a nightmare for the Greenacres lads, something special.. give it a slot. What would I change ? strut your stuff beyond the take off, landing area, whatever you fly.

I was impressed by lots of stuff, the Flying Fleas were great, Helena sounded and flew fantastic, the best though was the Avro 504, absolutely superb. Nice cup of tea at chuck wagon as well

You can buy a surprising amount of stuff at the likes of Wickes and B+Q Andy, could you not make the outer box from ply ?

I had the pleasure of watching them, no photo sorry

I think a sharpened piece of tube would be best for cutting holes in Erf, a drill would be too aggressive. Why not use the tape with the weave in ?

I hope Greenacres have not used all the good weather up

Well I had a great day out today at Greenacres, nice to meet a few of you. First time I've been on the other side of the fence with so many top builders and flyers. Top marks for the Greenacre lads, never stopped all day and smile never left their faces . Thanks also to the lads from RCME

The filter in the picture is not a very good one to begin with. You have a clean tank and fuel lines, if you have a filter in your fuel container and your pump line, Why on earth do you need one on the model ? If its filtered it's filtered

That was both lucky and unlucky Darren you could butt a piece of spar up to the rib on top of the burnt one, that would give it more support.
