I did Colin
it was 1100kv from Ken
just don't know what the extra 100kv means, only cheap so is no big problem.
I fly them noisy messy things usually
-
nice day in Doncaster sunny and quite warm
4 members have bought Rare bears, go like the clappers
only 1 left at home time, motors kept falling out
-
thanks Colin
I asked for 1100kv as advised but 1000 turned up
not sure if to return it, or if it will do
-

soz nasher
also check pushrods line up nicely with servo's
if they are a bit out give em a tweak
-
touch top of servo's pushrods its usually a bit of pressure from linkage
-
I think its a good thing, pay tax, insurance, mot you'll be o.k
some have abused it for years, time it was sorted
will be some errors, but its better than present system.
we don't let folk fly at clubs without paying fee's and insurance
drivers without tax n insurance deserve to lose the car

Sarah
why not use that spare fuzz side to perfect your technique with tissue n dope
also you could claim you built it on purpose
-
it make's me smile just looking at it
never heard of peanut scale before, the seat is very good Sarah are you putting a pilot in? or just going to glue a peanut on
-

thanks rich , after reading through some of the posts I have mixed feelings about this sbach at the moment , especially after that guy stripping all the covering off to find weak dodgy joints . then on the other hand theres that vid showing the sbach pulling out of a full throttle dive with full elevator and only the wing tube bending , showing that the joints and glueing must have been ok to survive that .
whats your thought rich

Quite right BEB. An aphorism i was told during flying training was "pull back gently, go up. Pull back more, go down!"
spot on
on a tippy model its elevator that kills you
-
looks good Steve
sure your finish will be of the usual high standard
-
thanks pete
-
link by pull pull wires
use 2 from each side of horn
one really you just put a crimp in at servo to create 2 strands
cant do links or i'd show you

i'll give it a go on a 8x6 see how it go's
only way to learn is get stuck in, at the price it's not worth returning. at worst i'll have a motor for sumat else.
shall be yellow with black bands underneath, with state of our field of late a few lecky's is a good move.
