Yes, cooking is allowed on the campsite! We fly at a pleasant, secluded farm site about 1 mile from Moreton-in-Marsh. Campsite has a water supply and toilets. You can arrive on the Friday evening and stay until Monday if you wish. We have a modelling Bring & Buy sale on both days and we have a barbecue on the Saturday afternoon/evening. Our show consists low-stress, 'off-the-peg' flying and any type of model is welcome. We also have areas for control line and small-field freeflight. Spread the word!

Hi, It’s wonderful to see so much interest in the late Dereck Woodward and his work in this forum. He was a modeller of rare skill and talent. Dereck was a great friend to myself and Shane Harding (now a well known display pilot) during the days of the Small Model Association. When we heard of his passing, we agreed that we should try to arrange something to remember and honour him and his influence on our hobby. So this is to let everyone know- ON AUGUST 9TH AND 10 TH 2014, OUR CLUB, THE NORTH COTSWOLD MAC WILL BE HOLDING A DERECK WOODWARD MEMORIAL EVENT AS PART OF OUR ANNUAL ‘FLY FOR FUN’ SHOW AT FAR HEATH FARM NEAR MORETON-IN-MARSH, GLOUCESTERSHIRE WE HOPE TO GET AS MANY AS POSSIBLE OF DERECK’S DESIGNS TOGETHER AND FLYING AT OUR FIELD. NO COMPETITION IS INVOLVED, BUT OVER THE TWO DAYS OF OUR SHOW, THERE WILL BE INFORMAL JUDGING OF ENTRIES AND PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED. ANY OF DERECK’S DESIGNS WILL BE WELCOME IN ANY FORM, I.C. OR ELECTRIC POWER, SCALED UP / DOWN OR MODIFIED (DERECK WOULD APPROVE!). DERECK'S WIFE SUE IS AWARE OF OUR EVENT AND GIVES HER BLESSING.
