  1. I PM stu back, I'll post it when I got past the Post office next. I measured span at just under 55 inches, it does say on it 55 inch span. I don't think it's been used, it belonged to one of our members who recently passed away and it seemed a shame for it to end up in the bin. Edited By steve tomlin on 05/12/2014 15:42:14
  2. We had a sale at my club tonight and I picked up a stol mk2 plan if anyone wants it for the £2 I paid plus postage they are more than welcome to it.
  3. I never knew you could change the difficulty, perhaps an A10 isn't that simple to fly after all. Edited By steve tomlin on 25/11/2014 21:15:03
  4. Would it be ambitious to sign up to do this if the last time I tried to build anything like this was about 30 years ago? I'm thinking of doing the mish 109 fun fighter is foam wings cheating?
  5. Thanks for the tips, I bought Phoenix and it runs fine. They don't make it easy to get going but once I found a preconfigured transmitter similar to mine everything was fine.
  6. I'm looking to get a simulator as I need to get in more flying than I am able to get in on a real model. I have downloaded the phoenix demo and it runs fine on my PC, I emailed the support team and they say if the demo runs then the full program will but I'm concerned about the graphics card they are quoting on the specs. My PC has a AMD Radeon HD 7670 graphic with 2 gigs RAM where as they quote a radeon 9800. Everything else far exceeds the quoted specs (I7 2.4 Ghz quad, core 6 gig ram).
  7. Cheers Leccy that sort of helps as I could try the ez glider at the flying club as well never considered that.
  8. here you go one st models discovery sexyyyyyy
  9. Hi, new to forum and flying well sort off. When I was a kid I had a go at slope soaring but gave it up but my wife told me I needed a hobby (seriously) so I ended up buying a Futaba 6J and a STmodels Discovery which I'm slowing getting the hang of. This got me to thinking about slope soaring, I've been out scouting for sites the last couple of weeks and had a rummage around my mums attic. I found a nearly complete glider of unknown name and a set of foam wings from a middle phase. So the million dollar question, do I get a middle phase advanced make up the fus and use the existing beginner wings until I'm ready to go for the advanced or buy something else like an easy glider.?
