  1. 73 years young. Started at around 10 with chuck gliders, then Astral and Kiel Kraft rubber models, Control line and Freeflight. Started Radio control around about 1968-70 with an E.C.C. Telecomander valve set. Still flying various types but with much more reliable Radios. The wood in the Astral kits after the war was like it was cut from orange boxes, very hard and usually bent or twisted. Can't seem to give it upthough. Thank Goodness. Matt
  2. I am not certain but I think someone once said Eric was involved with the Brentford Model shop. Regards Matt Hackers
  3. Just got back from the Ascot M.E. show, quite good, but not as much to see as at the Alexandra Palace Show.
  4. Memories of times past I had an R.C.S. Transistorised Guidance System in a Veron Skyskooter it proved to be very reliable compared to the old E.C.C. Telecomander valve set I had first of all. I still occasionally look back through the old magazines and dream of some of the frights I had while learning to fly. Many were basic free flight designs with a little guidance from the radio.
  5. I am going to Cornwall a fortnight to late as usual. I shall have to be contented with a browse around the model shop in the st. Austell market house.
  6. Looks like a real beauty. Would really like this one.

  8. Yes please I would really like to win this prize.
  9. Mike That 10S charger at AURORRA will charge either a pack of 10 cells or two packs of 5 cells. I think you will find the connections for the balance leads on the charger are in the righthand end white coloured the same as on the 4S. I don't Know what the connections on the front face of the charger are for. Matt
  10. Yes , it is a shame but at the present time my maximum cell count needed is only three cells so I don't have a problem at the moment but in the future, maybe??? Matt
  11. Mike Check out the charger by going to  www.aurorra.co.uk Matt
  12. Mike The CELLPRO charger does charge through the balance leads, in fact it is the only way you can connect a battery to it. Matt
  13. I have a CELLPRO charger that automatically balances and charges up to 4 cells and in some cases it can restore over discharged cells.
  14. What a great prize, please count me in.
  15. Sounds like a catapult and a ramp might be safer.
  16. Piper Cub, my favourite aircraft. This one is bigger than the the one I have.
