  1. Thanks onetenor and everyone else for your help. I have dicovered that Ripmax UK are the main suppliers to the model shop outlets for Sullivan Pro Flex Flouroelastomer tubing, but they are out of stock also, (not even advertised). Apparently this has been so popular all stocks of this everywhere have been sold out. The manufacture supply is on order to a USA outlet (Tower Hobbies) I have placed a back order with them and will recieve the tubing as when available. I guess Ripmax UK will eventualy have stock of this some time from now.
  2. Thanks for your replies, it appears like this Sullivan ProFlex Universal Fuel Tubing, fluoroelastomer (FKM) tubing that will never harden which is impervious to petrol, glow, diesel and smoke oil with it's thin walls allowing maximum flexibility without kinking is just not available anywhere on this planet. Pitty that, I would of liked to try it, will just have to be Tygon for now. Check it out at www.sullivanproducts.com
  3. Sullivan Pro Flex tubing for petrol. Does anyone know where this tubing can be purchased? It appears that after searching all known retailers no one stocks this and is probably the best on the market.Edited By Graham Tungatt on 18/11/2016 19:44:56
  4. Thanks Steve, just the information I needed, I'm new to petrol engines, thanks again.
  5. I have a new OS GT 33, can anyone advise me on the ignition system supplied with this? It states in the instructions that the ignition cuts off at below 120 RPM, so how is the ignition on below 120 RPM when starting? I pressume by switching on the ignition it must be live for a set time in order to start the engine and stays on once the engine is running above 120 RPM? If the ignition cuts at below 120 RPM, is there still a requirement for a isolation switch when throttled down below 120? Thanks Graham
  6. Hello Colin, thanks for your good news with the Acrowot XL, very encouraging. I was out myself flying yesterday with the Wot 4, was a great day, the last flight was a bit dramatic when one of the main undercarriage wheels dropped off during flight. Pleased to say landed safely in long grass. Must get on with assembling the Acro, thanks again for your feedback.
  7. Thanks for your comments questions and interest with the PACER, to see what it is like please open Albums then select my name.
  8. Hello Colin Hooper, You haven't wasted any time putting that together, good to see you are ready for the maiden flight, best wishes with that and hope it all goes well. Thanks for your info with the servos and taken note of the elevator push rod etc.
  9. Thanks for your recommendations guys, I was thinking myself 9 Kg/cm for rudder & elevator, 5-6 Kg/cm for each aileron with using 5 cell power. For your information, like the Wot 4 XL I have, the elevator on the Acro Mk2 XL uses only one servo and one for rudder. I am going to install the OS 33GT petrol in this one. CB,I have built and flown this size before and even had my own aerobatic design published many years ago in one of the magazines, not RCM&E though. named PACER, you can google it I think. Thanks again Bob & Chris.
  10. Just purchased the Acro Wot Mk2 XL. Instructions are not clear on what rating Kg/cm torque servos are required for rudder, elevator & ailerons. Does anyone have better information on this?
  11. HI Shaunie, thanks for your comment and quick reply. I have not previously owned an engine with pumped carb but it all makes sense now. Thanks again
  12. New to Petrol engines, can anyone tell me what the Pulse inlet on the carburettor assembly is for on the OS 33 GT? The instruction manual does not mention it.
