This is beginning to feel a bit like entering the National Lottery! I'd love to win it! Derek -

It's not that stealthy, David - don't they say it's something like 13,000,000 to 1. Anyway, I lurv the Sea Fury! -
Some things you just gotta do! It helps that the model's pretty neat! Del

There's a rumour that a Cessna attacked a battleship! -
The February Grand Prize Draw

Of course it attacked a battleship! I was there! It was after I'd sniffed a wee bit too much model making adhesive products! The best part of the whole thing was when the battleship turned on all of its lights and the Tiger Moth circled closer and closer and - just when you thought it was going to beat itself to death on the lights - a giant kindly man came and packed it up into a box and put my address on it! Dream on! Don't worry - I'll keep taking the tablets. I may get better - but I'll never get well! There's no cure for a grown man who plays with toy aeroplanes -
Couple of other suggested mods! Change the plastic moulded nose for blue or pink foam, smooth to shape and finish. I used a 1700 lipo to start but now use 2100s 3S. Flew it in a show and iit was commented on for its hot performance! C of G was exactly as suggested. Always got away easily from hand launch, except once when throwers fingers caught in the control linkage. I also recarved nose to look like F100 SuperSabre. Use REALLY bright colours! On a dull day when facing towards or away from you it gets very small very quickly and can make orientation difficult. Flourescent reds and blues in a fantasy aerobatic team colour scheme helps, but it is very small and very fast. love flying it, but think a bit of lateral thinking would be beneficial to get the moving bitsinside fuselage. I fly over grass usually so resisted the retracts. Maybe if they did a bigger version I might be tempted. I do the grunt from that little motor is brilliant. If performance is marginal, then maybe try end point adjustment on speed controller. That made a difference on my twister - don't know why that is the case - but if it works...... It took moving it to 135% before I got similar revs to my buddy on similar, speed controllers and batteries (but not identical)

The bst way to learn is to lose your fear of making mistakes say the educational experts! I've really taken this advice to heart! -

Having read the government health warnings about sedentary life styles, Mike decided to simultaneously combine model flying with field sports. -

The glide isn't so great! But it'll land in a very confined space. -

But the power to weight ratio's not so great! -
That's what we tend to do . Any Multiplex stockist should be able to get them, if they can be bothered. My local shop in South Wales carries them. Maybe that's a bit of test of how good a model shop is. Wings, fuselages, tail sets are all available as spares items. Usuall they cost somewhere just over a tenner. However, if you want to go aileron version it's a good idea to get a spare fuselage as well to make installation of aileron connections easier. It's a matter of creating a route for the aileron leads through the fuselage from wherever your RX is. Take a look at some of the MPX sites in Germany, they have examples of variations on the theme. There are also EDF, Biplane, Floatplane versions as well! You can use the wing material as hinge as per the existing elevator and rudder, or cut through totally and use standard RC hinge material. The neatest way I have seen is to cut a little of the foam infill panel on the wings to allow the servo lead extensions to lie along the channel and set the servos into a suitable recess cut at the end of that section.. It makes a professional looking job, and this servo position is close enough to the end of the wing spar to retain structural integrity, unless you really go crazy. One of my club members has done this with a really hot motor and the wings flex like crazy through high speed negative G patterns, but if you just use it as a moderately aerobatic, moderately fast plane, it's great! It's just a question of using common sense. Fly a 3D fun fly too fast and they too will break! If you take a look at the way the servos are connected on the MPX Twister with an extension lead glued into the side of the fuselage at the wing joint, it also makes a neat job. The only difference is with the E* you still have removable wings. Hope this helps!
