  1. Chri Thanks for the help.  I will look them up and see if they will do. Cheers David
  2. Hi Terry Thanks for your reply.  I will look at BRC as you suggested, but I already have four Blue Arrow S0901 Micro servos.  These will fit in the wing a treat, and I was wondering if they will be OK.
  3. Hi Simon Thanks for the reply.  I will look at the spec for the Hitec HS81 Servos.  The wing of the Sea Fury where I intend to fit the servos is quite thin, and the servos I have only just fit in.  So the servos I use will have to be small.  The hitec's may be a bit too big.  Cheers Dave T
  4. Hi Guys I am building an E lectric Seafury from plans.  The model is 48" wingspan and should weigh about 3.5 lbs.  It was origonally designed for a Graupner speed 600 on 7-8 cell Nimh Battery pack, but I am going the Brushless/Lipo route. The plans show a centrally mounted aileron servo.  Now I would like to mount an individual servo in each wing. and the servos I have are Blue Arrow S0901 Micro Servos. The torque for these are 1.7kg/cm.   The instructions say that these are suitable for Micro Planes,Hand Launch Gliders and Small Electrics.  What I am wondering is will they be OK on each aileron of the Sea Fury.  Also could they be used on Elevator and Rudder?  Any help much appreciated Thanks Dave T

  6. Hi All Thanks for all the tips and responses. Plenty to think about. I think that I will go with the Cork Tiles glued to an MDF board. Will visit the DIY stores this weekend.
  7. Hi All I was wondering what to use as a building board. Suitable for taking modelling pins etc
  8. Hi Everybody, I am back into building from plans again and was wondering what is the best material for making a building board that will take modelling pins etc.
