  1. This is the kit from which it was built. A modeller i met at a 'flyin' recently told me there was no such thing as a "Flair Super Lightning" Edited By Paul S on 30/09/2016 15:59:08
  2. I've only had a handful of flights so far, flys really well, feels great in pitch just need to set roll more to my liking. I'm using an old OS 61 rf pumper which last ran 20+years ago (cleaned up with new bearings) swinging 12x10
  3. John stones 1 the original starter to this thread simply missed "super" from the title. The link in his post was for this kit.
  4. Its only taken a year to build but finally finished and successfully flown... Edited By Paul S on 28/09/2016 16:24:31 Edited By Paul S on 28/09/2016 16:30:25
  5. Subscribed and looking forward to seeing further pictures... Would like to my hands on a fibreglass version, if anyone knows where I could find one! My dad bought and built a kit from Dave smith way back in the late seventies and a couple of flair versions in later years. The Lightning is proberly the reason why I've also had an interest in aerobatic flying. Paul     Edited By Paul S on 25/01/2016 19:20:01
  6. Recently joined, thanks for the membership card and stickers, a pleasent surprise to receive in the post. Hoping to attend some meetings next year with a flair super lightning I'm currently building. Paul
  7. Bought the above advertised kit at this nationals...£50! Some of the wing veneer was peeling off around the edges but nothing that couldn't be sorted. Couldn't wait to start building...
