  5. Hi Obzi Had exactly the same problem with a 2S 800 mAh pack I use for my Bell 47 indoor heli. Do what the others have said, take it to the local council tip who should have a container for old batteries. Buy a fireproof bag  ( Sussex Model Centre )  and be safe
  6. Hi everyone I have just completed the conversion of this rubber powered model using a KP00 motor and gearbox, powered by 2  50 Mh nicads.  My problem is charging the batteries. The first charge is to be for 14 to 16 hours at 5Ma. The batteries are labelled with this instruction. Subsequent charges can be at 50 Ma. Sanyo recommend the battery pack should  be " formed " i.e charged and discharged at least three times for maximum power I have a Pro-Peak Prodigy charger with a minimum charging current of 100Ma. My problem is making up a circuit to lower the charge current to 5Ma for the initial charge and then for the 50Ma charges using the charger not another battery pack as someone suggested Looking forward to some interesting replies !

  9. the best of flight smulators ? To anyone thinking of buying a sim I would recommend RC Plane Master from Reality Craft. Disc, usb cable and Tx all for £19.99. The graphics and control are superb. Good range of aircraft from electic slow fly to the BX-1 rocket powered. Extra models and landscapes can be downloaded from members area. Also good range of options and no calibration problems, if fact no problems ! Downside ? no helicopters
  10. Is there anyone out there using this flight sim ? I'm having difficulty in downloading addtional models. Although the instructions are very clear the model will not find it's way into the directory. Any suggestions or tips would be most helpful ivor giles
