  2. Peter is right. Stop playing around and show us some progress! And if not... please at least do the dishes... Love, Iris | Intervention Control
  3. @ kc Forget about the Brussels sprouts. Think about the Belgian beers, the Belgian chocolates and the French, sorry Belgian fries. Yes, yes ... the French try to claim this (just as they did with the Turkish croissants) but French fries are definitely Belgian! So what about Belgian women? Kim Clysters? Justine Henin? When it comes to all this EU stuff here: I hope you don't think the majority of Belgians can identify with this? Kind regards, Iris | ID Control
  4. @ WolstonFlyer Oh my, 'I object your honor', would Chris say! Although he is funny, he is not THAT funny! I am funnier, prettier and much much clumsier. However, my English is of a higher level. Need a photo?
  5. @ John, I was indeed not reading all the 'technical' details because for me that's foreign language (and I naively thought the CoC doesn't allow foreign languages) but I think that from now on, I need to pay a little closer attention. Not only to the household budget, but also to my pills because they seem to be mysteriously disappearing. @ Peter I agree with some things you write but going to the hairdresser (I prefer NOT talking about shoes and clothes) in a term shorter than 4 months is not silly. You have no idea how I would look like if I let my wildgrow last longer than 2 months. It would scare basically any sensible person so I kindly ask you to reconsider that example.
  6. @ Craig I'm glad Gaston is serving him, saves me the trouble... (don't tell him I said that) @ John, I like his gluing style too. He 's such a cleaaaaaan gluer! Cheers, Iris aka the LotH | Household Control
  7. Posted by Craig Thomas on 06/02/2016 14:34:39: That looks very nicely put together Chris. Are you sure this is your first build? It's my first build and I've got excess glue and gaps all over the place. Lol. I'm a little envious. 👍👍 Edited By Craig Thomas on 06/02/2016 14:35:04 Dear Craig, Believe me this is Chris's very first RC build. But he has been working on 'stuff' all his life. And he is a perfectionist. It might take quite a bit of time, but the result is in general never disappointing. I call him MacGyver. So don't let it get to you that you are struggeling with glue and gaps. That's perfectly normal. It's also perfectly normal to be a little envious. So am I Have a nice day! - Iris aka the LotH
  8. Posted by McG 6969 on 05/02/2016 13:03:00: Hello everybody, I definitely inverted my correct building sequence by gluing the carbon fibre strip to the plybox instead of gluing it to the fuselage side first and then bringing it to the plybox all together. Another lesson learned… Thus it was a bit tricky to align it correctly, but as Danny wrote, at the end all went well. I clamped the fuse to the building board and measured (maybe too much?) the best I could to get a correct side symmetry & motor mount angle. Time will tell after curing… Don’t tell The LotH but some of the clamps are not mine. Hard to notice anyway! Now it looks like “Forrest Clamp”… err… or is that the title of a novel written by Winston Groom? … Hakuna matata Chris BRU - BE / CTR Forrest Control Dear MotH, Soooo... there are my washpins! Been looking for them all over the place... If your socks are not washed and dried, don't blame me... Guess I'm hanging the 'dirty laundry' out now! Oh noooo... can't even do that. No washpins! I guess I'll give them to you for your upcoming birthday. Your fusselage looks good but next time, at least leave me the blue pins. 10. Mmm... wonder if this will work and it really gives it a glass look? I'm watching...
  11. Posted by Craig Thomas on 30/01/2016 19:24:22: I'm planning on using them Chris. I've saved both instrument panels from your photo library. Hope you don't mind and wI'll see which one looks best. I have to ask, I think I slmissed the joke previously, but what does LotH stand for? Hi Craig, It took me a while to figure it out but knowing that Chris has watched some episodes of Keeping up appearances, I found out to my big asurprise that he meant me when talking about the LotH (lady of the house). At first, I wasn't very pleased with it because I have nothing whatsoever in common with the Bucket lady but I thought about it and yes... it is a lot(h) better than swimbo! Me and the girls are now organizing a brainstorming session to come up with equally original names for you guys. Hope this answers your question. @ AVC: thanks for the kind welcoming word Greetz, Iris aka the LotH
  12. Posted by McG 6969 on 13/01/2016 17:58:01: No, kc, it wasn't 'me' really. "I'm claiming total irresponsibility in this case, Your Honor. My MD will prove that my natural insanity has been heavily intensified by taking the prescribed medication". "Case dismissed, young man". "Thank you, Your Honor". "Cheers, young man"... (somewhat later at the local pub...) Chris BRU - BE / CTR Pub Control   You really need to stay off those pills young man! LotHs of love, Iris aka The LotH (a title that gives me some Hyacinth Bucket feeling by the way!)   Edited By Iris Vieghe on 27/01/2016 20:25:17
  13. Dear Chris, Just to inform you that your dinner might be getting a tiny little bit cold. I was calling you from out of the kitchen but apparently your ears are where your eyes are: at this quite interesting blog. I think I am going to visit from time to time. Anyways, just to let you know that your burger can be reheated at 500W for about one minute. What am I doing? You are the tech-wizz so I'm not having to explain to you the functioning of my micro-wave. Enjoy the meal a lot. Lots of love, Iris aka The LotH
