Anyone know how this connects to a spektrum rx. The diagram is not helpful and esc on electric aircraft go to the no.2 port on the rx.

Its correct to say it can be altered via the tx. However the u/c has a servo for the nose and seperate servo for the main so any alteration would apply to both servos and could cause other problems with travel. I retract servo for the main and standard servo for the nose might work as the dedicated retract servo just swings through 180.

Have purchased the Hi tec servo programmer. Manual not good and internet vids sketchy. Purchased soi can program servo to use on retract servo. The wing u/c servo is ok but the nosewheel servo goes through the 180 and stresses the rod and arm. I think programming the servo i can " destress" the system. Just wanted to know if anyone else had done the same

I have HK walrus and Night Walrus and didnt have any problem with c of g as I recall, but will check over weekend as they are both my ladies . In any event they are cracking to fly.

Should you to choose to go to your club field to fly you normally go alone. If others are there observe social distancing and if closer than 2metres wear a mask. You may also wish to sign in as this would help track and trace in the event someone had it. Dont share anything unless you sanitise first.
Even if more than six provided you are 2 metres away no infringement.
Seems to me they are sensible and do no break any rules.

Elbow Grease £1 a bottle and/or Elbow Grease wipes. (Dont know if the latter are enviroment friendly)

Scratch build. Now the problem two motors one for lift and one for thrust.
How do you tie them to the tx, the thrust goes to to the throttle but when plugging the esc in for the lift motor it gives the beep error. Clearly it doesnt like any other of the channels. Does it need a multirotor control board or is there some way of mixing on the tx (Spektrum DX8)
Both motor have their own battery and esc, the positive lead removed from the lift esc to the receiver.

My original question was would it work.
I apologise for being a dumb brum with no knowledge of electronics.
I mistakenly believed that as the balance leads were connected to individual cells they would carry single cell voltage, clearly that is not the case as the voltage increase across the cells.
Making that assumption I thought by distributing the load across the cells I would help in balancing the lipo.
I have listened and will obviously use another more practical solution.
A little less judgement and presumption (as I did with the voltage) might not go amiss

I chose to do it this way as I thought, perhaps wrongly that it would help with balance, however the ma is so small it probably makes no difference.
As for the diagram being different from the picture it is not.
In any event its working, but I may well consider just using the BEC.
Sheessh it wasn't intended to get people agitated.

I have connected the LED's to the balance connectior on a 3s lipo as per my diagram. All working with no apparent problems.

Gents the LED's all have resistors and I have literally just tried using them in parallel and have found no difference in brightness.

Thank you Dennis, that makes sense, though I would have thought as both are wired in parallel it would have been okay.
Phil, the leds are wired to separate cells via the balance led.

I intend to power a set of LED's using the balance lead of my lipo., The LED's are set to cell voltage. Will the below arrangement work.

Has anyone tried using hotglue. I have used this on depron as shown on the flitetest website.I am also pondering its use for wings. The foamboard from hobbyycraft can be used as depron substitute however its density isnt always uniform and a lower temp hotglue is advisable.

First of all this is NOT a rant about Overlander, I use and will continue to use this company’s products.
My moan concerns the Charge Tracker app which you can use for your battery charger.
Please explain why a simple program designed to aid me in my battery maintenance requires access to my camera, location, storage, and phone. (This is just one of many apps that adopt this position.)Actually don’t I already know the answer and refuse to play. Hence app deleted.
I would be happy to buy this product to stop it having this access.
The same for cookies and privacy. When the EU declared a notice be shown on all websites the original option was a yes or no question and access was granted regardless of the answer. Now you have to accept or refer to the laughably called ‘Privacy Policy’ where you are subjected to reams of ‘legalise’, and even then no guarantee as the ‘third party’ caveat is sprinkled throughout. Most give up and accept. Makes you weep.

I am doing my best to follow the Government guidelines, however hand sanitiser is rarer than a brothel for eunuchs. It occurred to me that as it is alcohol based a substitute was required so I am now using whiskey, gin or vodka. This is all very well but singing two verses of Happy Birthday whilst washing your hands in said spirits causes its own problem as in true tradition one drinks a toast at the conclusion of the song. I found myself annoyed after getting a newspaper, wash hands after opening door, wash hands after picking up paper, wash hands after paying for same, wash hands after opening door to leave. Then return to shop to get throat sweets after all that bloody singing, and then repeat hand washing. A 5 minute trip to the shop ends as a 15minute stagger home.
I now find I am getting drunk in no time by following the advice to continually wash ones hands. This is made worse if you physically sing rather than mime as people close by tend to join in. This is okay but you find yourself passing the bottle to those who have joined in the celebratory singing and subsequent toast. This only compounds the problem as on returning the bottle, as others having touched you have to start the hand washing again, thereby repeating the exercise. This explains while I and 2 complete strangers were pissed outside the Post Office.
Does anyone know another song!!

The article by WREN contains some inaccuracies, the transmission has not proven to be airborne, (if it had the number of infections by now would be very high.
The use of an image of a tent at the ear of a hospital, yes it was an isolation pod, however my local hospital has a number of well appointed porta cabins.
Presently there have been no reported deaths of those without an underlying condition.
AND if you read the article go to read the responses as well.
Yes we will be having a number of infections and a number of deaths but some perspective is required.

I have the above model complete with TX, have followed the instructions and had it bind once but refused to do anything. Think I failed to arm the motors.
The damn thing wont bind now.Anyone have any ideas?

Perhaps a properly worded letter from the BMFA once more addressing the flaws in the system on behalf of its members.
Alternatively why not see if we can delay the outcome via the Courts by challenging the misrepresentation of the evidence.
I see we still have no actual footage of the Gatwick drone....

Is it possible to charge a completely discharged LiFe battery. Brand new and left it hooked up to rx. No sign of life now

Is anyone else having trouble getting BMFA hosted website to work on their mobile. Up and till a couple of months ago our club site was working using my mobile. On wi fi it works no problem but mobile data it cannot even find the site.
From enquiries with club members it appears that the only problem is on the EE network. Enquiries with them maintain it is a problem with the host end.
Any other people out there having trouble accessing BMFA hosted site having the same trouble.
