  1. I see that HSD make a 20000 wingspan Cessna .It is powered by a 6s lipo but also you need a 2s 2000 mah lipo to power the radio equipment .Would I have to charge the 2s 2000mah lipo up after every flight or will one charge do several flights. Be a pain if you have to charge up the 2s lipo after every flight .I am sure once you have a fully charge 2s lipo for the radio equipment that would last most off the days flying .I hope so 🤞I am not talking about the 6s lipo you need to power the model .I know that will only last one flight
  2. Do not bother Rocker ,The Eflite 80mm afterburner kit is crap .I have a Eflite 80mm F 16 with the Eflite Afterburner kit and you can not even see it when you take off ,it is so dull. No one notice I had an afterburner kit on my F16 .Any how you will not find any Model shop in the UK that has one in stock .Like all Efite spare parts ,they are becoming harder and harder to obtain in the UK Apart from the fact there are no Eflite Aftermarket kits in the UK ,you would only be wasting your money .Shame we do not have the choice like the USA does with the Goony and RC Geek doing excellent afterburner kits .You could always see if Goony or the RC Geek would send you one from the USA
  3. Someone in our club has brought the Eflite FW 190. Fly and looks great. Thought I need to buy one of them. Then I found out you can not get any spare for the Eflite FW 190 in the UK. Contacted a well know Model shop who confirmed that Horizion Hobby will not ship spares for Eflite models to the UK Contact Horizion Hobby USA and they emailed me saying they do not ship to the UK. So no spares. No props, retract spares nothing. So I brought the Freewing Corsair instead. Just beware if you are thinging of buying any model made by Horizion Hobby. Look up the spares availability first. If you break a prop or damage a retract the model will be unable to fly again due to no spares being in stock
  4. Will the Laser 180 fly models desisned for 30 cc gas engines. Ie the Seagull 30cc Spitfire or the Seagull 30 cc P40 Thunderbolt?????
  5. Yes 5 recycles before flying them. Think I do what I always do and just charge them up and stick them in my EDF and fly them
  6. I have just brought some new lipos for my EDF Jets I normally just charge them up and put them in my EDF and fly. I have now been told by one of our club members not to do that. He said I should charge the new lipos up at least 5 times before putting them in a EDF and flying them. I have never done that before. I just charge up the new lipo and fly them Is he right????
  7. I have tried it on 2 different chargers and get the same reading. To be on the safe side I will retire them. I need an excuse to try out some HRB Lipos ?
  8. Thanks Think it is time to dump those 2 lipos then and replace them
  9. Have 2 6s 40000 lipos and when I check the battery resistance 5 cells had a reading of between 3 and 7 but one cell had a reading of 57 I take it is time to replace these 2 battery. The second lipo had a reading of 5 cell again had a reading of 3 to 7 but again 1 cell had reading of 37
  10. At least Motion RC do carry spare parts for all there models. So whish now I had brought the Freewing 90mm F16 now instead of the Eflite 80mm one with no spare available what so ever
  11. Just had a reply from Horizion Hobby Europe They confirmed they will not ship anything to the UK due to the EU complication. Funny how do all these Horizion Hobby Kits get here then. Be warned if you buy a Horizion Hobby model you will not be able to get any spare parts for then now
  12. Just emailed Horizion Hobby in the USA and ask why they will not back up their model here in the UK by refusing to send spare parts to the UK. Be interesting to see what they say

  14. Still waiting on my parcel. It has been stuck at Charles De Gualle airport now for 8 days. Fed Ex are just not up to it. Can not go through this again. Motion RC really need to change there courier but I do not think Motion RC are really interested in the UK market so are not that bothered about the problem
  15. Again rang some well know model shops who do spare parts for models and both told me the just can not get Horizion Hobby to send them any spare parts for the Eflite 80mm F16. They said there is nothing they can do, it is out of there hands. It is not a case of it will take X amount of time to get them from the USA. They just can not get spare parts for the Eflite 80mm F 16 Bear that in mind if you are considering buying the Eflite 80mm F16. My advice is buy the Freewing 90mm F16. Then you can get spare parts for it and it is cheaper. Whish I had done that now. Never going to by an Horizion Hobby model again
