  1. Hi, A question regards f/f scale. Are the tail-plane areas allowed to be increased for F.A.I. Free-flight scale models? (Can't see any mention on F.A.I. site.) Seem to remember some 35 years ago some increase was allowable. (I may be wrong on this, memory slowly fading!) About to start a Stewart Headwind model, tail-plane area about 15%, would this be enough for f/f if increase not allowed? Cheers from Australia
  2. Sorry, didn't see the photos first time. My Attachport is a "slab-sided" mk1 This looks like what I have read what Mills did to a few mk1's, where they turned them down to a similar look to the mk2 in the transition period. Is that a spring from the intake? (If so does it have a shut-off?) About the only history I know of Attachport is they were made around 1983, with maybe some parts or work subbied out to Dunham, don't know if they did a version as your or not. cheers
  3. I have an Attachport mk1 replica. Don't have access to it for a few weeks, to check numbers. Mine came in a box with "Mills 1.3 Replica" and "made in England" (no instructions or paperwork) The only thing I can think of until I see engine and box again, is that it has a distinctive black hex prop-nut with a "domed" front to it. (different to any other replicas I have seen, not that there are many mk1 replicas) Hope this is of some help cheers from Oz
  4. Hi Folks, Like Bustergrunt the vintage bug has bitten! Have found myself building Cardinal (Mills power) and Super Sniffer (E.D.Bee mk1) Have single servo r/only, thought I might be the only person doing so, but glad to see many others doing same! Selling off some large petrol motors and buying small diesels, seems have done the "full circle" back to where I began some 45 yrs ago (albeit now with r/o radio) Don't think I have had as much fun in those years as now. cheers from "the land down-under" gregj
