After 16 weeks of more or less solid work, I took out my Sharkface fitted with cox 049 for its first flight in twenty five years, on a very Gusty Dartmoor. First flight was fairly nerve wrecking and a bit of a brute of a landing, cartwheeled but no damage. Second fkight had my reflexes sorted a bit more and old Sharky didnt let me down. More fun than anything else I have in the loft. Fantastic glide and handling when engine cut, landed twenty feet away. Well chuffed. Now where is that teedee 09?

RTFM? I am afraid I have been out of it for some time. However. Flew the Sharkface for the first time in 25 years and it didnt end in tears.

Bob Cotsford. Light on was orange. Pressed for five seconds and it changed to green, did range check 80-90 yds no problem. Pressed buttin and reverted back to orange light instantly, which incidentaly seemed ti be its default mode out of the box.Seems a bit backward, green tells my head good to go???

Excuse what looks from the outset a daft question. I have just had my kraft single stick converted. Simple on off swith for tranny, positive centre to charge and a black button and led on top of case. How do I set up for flying? Rx works ok with tx. I ask because the instructions tell me to range check mode?? So how does one press the button how long for and what happens? A very simple language answer would be very very helpful as I dont want ti lob my model in the air in range check mode. Many thanks. Have just found in my drawer an almost new 09 tee dee I think. Black and gold. Havnt figured out how to post photos yet? And also a 049. So I think 049 first to see how it goes. Elevator and rudder only. I dudnt alter downthrust with the medalion.

Originally I dud have a 09 medallion in it. full bore two channel. But that was when I was flying pattern ships in the 80's and it was almost more than I could handle then so definately not now after a twenty year rest. I have got a 049 somewhere, I will have to dig it out, thought the Dart wouldnt be uo to it but thought I would ask. Thanks
