    Allen, on Flaps, I eyeballed images of real Mossies and used that. With a two pole switch I will use 50% for takeoff. I will measure and let you know what that equates to on the model, next time I have her assembled (This weekend??) Chris, yes I am very interested in the BH and Seagull settings!

It is very short. https://youtu.be/V9KKZTz_6L8 My weight is a bit under 15 pounds, no nose weight but 2 X 3700 6S batteries and Ally Spinners. One thing I learnt is with this weight "fly" her in. She will not glide! On my maiden I landed hard. Did zero damage other than the pins that are meant to bend! Takeoff was easy, no flaps. Flaps worked well for landing with no bad habits. Balance was perfect and she needed no elevator trim. Just a couple of clicks on the ailerons. I have gone from "scared" to "confident" now. Easy to fly! Just watch the landing. At 15 pounds comes down fast. With good weather will be back out this coming weekend and will do video.. Good luck with your maiden! When???

    https://youtu.be/V9KKZTz_6L8 Engine run up.. Maiden today and flew great! No video, was too focussed on the flight! Next time.. Almost no trim required. Needs to land with plenty of power. I came in too hard and slightly bent undercarrage pin. Great design!

    That's funny. When I realized you were using some kind of cutter and went looking. This is the one that I found! Have not purchased yet but it seems to be a great tool for the shop! Thanks! Can you cut lettering in vinyl to stick on a plane also? Instead of creating a template to paint "through"?

    Back to the spinners FYI. Mine are 3 3/4 counter rotating Tru-Turn. They are really nice and spin totally true. All set now for maiden next weekend weather (want it to be perfect!) pending..

    Looks great! Interesting that you sprayed with the control surfaces attached. Much easier! I did them separately. Looking forward to seeing the final paint! I will be doing my maiden in a couple of weeks, will send pics..

    I used same ones on the tail feathers as the Aileron and flaps. I found ones with the same light grey as the color scheme. For the Ail and flaps, since there was significant hard wood in the structure, they were screwed in from the bottom so nothing visible from wing top..     All up weight 14.75 pounds. Tony's spec was 14 so not too bad. I built around 6S batteries and with the Ally spinners I am happy with that. Will have tons of power! Did fine tuning today so ready for Maiden.. Probably late April..
