  1. Guys, Bottom wing skins have been joined up and starboard side upper spruce spar fitted. All the Best Phil B
  2. Ade, Thanks for your response, I'll wait for Martins photo as I'd like to see what structure he put in place to see them too or did he just use servo tape onto the bottom wing. All the Best Phil B
  3. Guys, Has anyone got any photos of how they've mounted their wing servos as I've got Turnigy TGY-9018MG servos to install, just looking for a bit of advice from someone that's ahead of me in the wing build. All the Best Phil B
  4. Guys, Well I've started on the wing build today as can be seen from the attached photos. All the Best Phil B
  5. Martin, I'm just starting the build of the wing and have noticed at the front between R3 port to R3 stbd their is a 4.76mm thick piece of ply. Is the shape of this defined anywhere or do you just fit a piece in place and sand to suitable section but I do see we need dowel holes placed in this also. Any photos you may have of this would be grateful. Also and photos of how you installed the servos would be good as well. All the Best Phil B
  6. Tigger, What number are you proposing to use and look forward to seeing you on the Great Orme in June 2020. All the Best Phil B
  7. Guys, Wing jig dry assembled already for glueing with some triangular corner gussets made to add some strength and rigidity to the structure. Only fiddly bit was the joining of the lugs in parts J2, J3 & J4. All the Best Phil B
  8. Guys, I've managed to hopefully neatly join the pieces of the wing jig as the lugs needed a bit of fettling to fit nicely together as can be seen in the photos. All the Best Phil B
  9. Guys, Well today is the 1st Nov and it's time to start my F-86 Sabre 2020 Mass Build. Just to show I've not cheated and started earlier, I thought I'd send some photos in with the bits on the building board all ready to start making the wing jig today. All the Best Phil B
