  2. We are holding a Trial Indoor Meeting on Sunday 22nd April from 11am till 1pm, This is at Hanwell Community Center,Westcott Crescent,Hanwell W7, this will give both us and the community center a chance to see how this work out and therefore no charge for this meeting, hopefully this will become a regular venue, you must however be a BMFA member to fly, power is to be electric,CO2 or Rubber, Hall is 125ft X 50ft so you have some idea as to what size model you can fly, as per BMFA guidlines, max weight is 7oz(200g) with a wing loading of 3oz(10g) sq foot/Decimetre,weights are for airframe only without batteries, basically RC but we can have a FF slot should anyone wish Helicopters welcome, VENUE http://www.hanwellcommunitycentre.com/ My Son and I will be at the Twickenham indoor meet this coming Saturday and will introduce ourselves should any of you be there Bob Robinson
  3. Hello As In new to this forum Id first better introduce myself, My name is Bob Robinson and I live in Hanwell, long time model aircraft builder/flyer,but have got a bit rusty latly, but have a son David who is into RC electric Heli's and as spured me back in to life, fixed wing man myself However to the point of this post, I live almost next the the old London school which was where Charie Caplin went to school before becoming famous, A great imposing victorian building, Now this building is The Hanwell Community center and as a great hall which is nowerdays a five-a-side football pitch and basket ball court also a large hall on the first floor containing four squash courts, Iv spoken to the people at the community center about flying in the great hall, it is free every sunday morning and costs £33.00 hour to hire, so to have a charge of around £5-£6 per person would need around at least 20 people a time to make it pay, Im posting this to see if anyone would be intrested, the directors have agreed to a free first time trial run with two of them, both aero minded attending to see how it goes, So if anyone would be intrested in giving it a go, maybe you could get back to me either on this board or email me direct at robert.g.rob @ hotmail.co.uk Regards Bob
