Hi all. I've just finished covering a very old " Jolly Roger, slope soarer, which I've had in my w/shop for years. I've rightly or wrongly chosen to dope the tissue with Cellulose dope, thinned slightly with cellulose thinners. It's tightened up nicely, but now I'm wondering if I've commited myself to using only cellulose paints/aerosols when applying any livery? Can anyone throw any light on this please? Hi. I recently bought a Protech Alpha 2 in a job lot. I now need to purchase an Electronic speed controller for it. The one recommended on the box doesn't appear to be around now. (Not surprising) it states a Pro 35 to be used. Am I right in assuming a Pro 35 would have been a 35 Amp ESC? If, or if not, can anyone recommend a suitable ESC for this model. The battery is a 7.2v 1700mAh. Many thanks Dave

Thank you all for the advice. I was hoping to use the MDS 40 as I had 2 spare- but It's not a problem... I'll have to fish around for a 25-30. I'm sure I've got one somewhere. Out of interest the plans I'm using are for rudder and throttle only...I'm assuming you climbed with throttle??? I'm going off plan to add the elevators. Thanks again for all your comments. Dave

Hi.I'mbuilding a super 60 now- from an old keil kraft set of plans-I've added elevators but not ailerons and I've increased the rudder size. Can I get away with a 2 stroke MDS 40 or is that too big Thanks in advance Dave
