  1. Hi Tim, I will endeavour to post a few pictures.... just need to figure out how to upload photos. Regards, Rory
  2. Hi Jason, The howzit said it all.... thanks for the welcome. It is a long weekend here starting today, so I will only be back online on Tuesday wher I will give a bit of a rundown of flying in South Africa from my perspective. Until then gents, have a great weekend!
  3. Thanks for the welcome Gentlemen, Johannesburg is a sunny and bright albeit chilly 16deg C today, so really can't complain being the middle of winter. One privilege about SA is being able to fly all year round!
  4. Hi Tim, and fellow CITPRO fans. Great build log! I have only just signed up to RCM&E, so apologies for the rather late past it's sell by date message! About two years ago I completed a CITPRO from your plans, but chose to convert it to a 30 size Magnum FS installation. It looks good, flies great all the while making the right noises. One of my favourite late afternoon lazy fliers. I also didn't follow the original paint scheme, instead taking my own artistic licence. Greetings from South Africa. Rory
  5. Hi Guys, I am new to RCM&E forum, although I have been reading the magazine for many years. Modelling down in South Africa is still fairly strong. I enjoy building, but also like to use my own artistic licence when it comes to livery etc., although a few of my warbirds are fairly true to looking correct. I followed Tim Hoopers 2013 build of the Citabria Pro, and recently built my own, but converted it to IC, employing a Magnum 30 FS. It flies beautifully and just "looks right". I live and fly in Johannesburg South Africa where we are at about 5500 feet above sea level, so both lift and engine performance are compromised by about 18%, but my little PRO flies superbly. Glad to finally be a part of this forum, and look forward to learning and sharing skills with like minded people. Regards, Rory Wilson
